I am Tired of Reading and Hearing About Obama's Inexperience, I am Also Tire of It In

governor's not a title or certificate to hang on the wall, it's a freaking exec job rife with decisions. Diploma getting is about acceptance and studying.

right

a governor may be the title of each appointed or elected politician who governs a constitutive state.
In some countries the heads of the constitutive states, provinces, communities and regions may be titled "governor,"

keep grasping for straws.

Convenient how you left out the rest of the quote from Wiki. Typical liberal to skew the facts to your own liking. If you can't win with the facts, just leave out the part of them that doesn't suit you.

I assume that the title of GURU does not come with an IQ test.

It's always amusing when someone can't defend their position so they have to resort to personal attacks on the person they don't agree with, or spelling corrections, etc.

I suppose if you were criticizing someone's conclusion in a scientific paper, you would start by personal attacks on the intelligence of the author? Really juvenile even for this board, I have to say.

I would start that way if they used wikipedia as a source

No more juvenile than paraphrasing something and attempting to pass it off as a valid definition. Try scrolling down the where it starts talking about what a governor is in the US.

Every point that you have made has been answered and you still go back to the Dem talking points.
If that is an attack, I am guilty.

were you really too stupid to understand the quotes you posted.

How would you explain the fact, that once someone has held the office of governor, they are referred to as governor or former governor for the rest of their life regardless if they are in office or not? (the same is true for presidents or vice-presidents) I guess that's just a coincidence?

I fail to see how that is relevant to pretty much anything.

BRILLIANT...you got us there...good one Guru

Does it help what? Prove that you still want to pick out only the parts of a definition that help you attempt to make your weak point? How about this from Wiki
Community organizing is a process by which people are brought together to act in common self-interest. While organizing describes any activity involving people interacting with one another in a formal manner, much community organizing is in the pursuit of a common agenda. Many groups seek populist goals and the ideal of participatory democracy. Community organizers create social movements by building a base of concerned people, mobilizing these community members to act, and developing leadership from and relationships among the people involved.

I am hopeless? Why, because you have no possible way of winning this discussion based solely on facts? Sucks for you.

McCain could have nominated an 8th grade dropout who's only job was town harlot and you would be praising the selection as "such an unconventional pick" or for "how much potential" she had

except he nominated someone for VP with more experience than the Dem pick for Pres. Seems like a great choice

Right so she has more experience then Obama because he was only a U.S. Senator and she was a Governor.

But what experience does McCain have that makes him such a great pick? Oh yeah U.S. Senator

military senior officer and POW. Clearly willing to part with his party and constituency.

The rest of your silliness is similar to debating with my 4 year old.

I didn't know one was available. But seriously, you are comparing apples to oranges. The point here is, the republican VP choice is more qualified for the position of VP than the dem choice for pres is for the office of POTUS. I think the dems are more afraid that experience as VP and she will be the landslide winner in the next presidential race assuming McCain doesn't run or dies. And they can't stand the fact that their party wouldn't be the first to put a woman in the white house as POTUS.

I can say the same thing about Palin that many Republicans are saying about Obama:

1. She is unknown... needs to be vetted... We don't know enough about her
2. She doesn't have enough experience in Washington or with foreign affairs to be president.
3. She makes a good speech but talk is cheap!

Haven't most Republicans said these same exact words about Obama? Sure they have but when the collar is on the other dog it turns into:

A. "We need someone who is a Washington outsider!"
B. "We need someone who understands the common man and woman from middle-America!"
C. "We need a fresh face in Washington who will tell it like it is and be a force for CHANGE and reform."

The truth is when Democrats call for such things most Republicans scoff at the words as empty Rhetoric but when McCain picks a political newbee, all the little GOP faithful jump up and down with glee and say the very same words they used to condemn Senator Obama.

BTW: I would think that another famous Illinois Senator who was elected president in 1860 would love the fact that a black man was about to become president of the United States. I think he would find it ironic that his own party was not the one to put the first black president into the White House and he certainly had less political experience than Senator Obama when he was elected!

1. He had served one term as a US congressman and was considered a failure for his legislative work during that term in office.
2. He taught and practiced law in Illinois.
3. He protested the Mexican-American War and the Polk administration during his term in Congress.
4. He was known far and wide for his oratory skills and many mocked him for his tall, skinny appearance.
5. He was never baptized or professed to be a member of any religious affiliation.

Does any of this sound familiar????

Most people would find it much more pallatable for the "newcomer" to be at the bottom of the ticket instead of the the top!

Again, she's going to be VP. Obama is attemting to become president based upon his empty rhetoric, promises of free money and zero meaningful experience.

Comparing Obama to Lincoln based upon these near meaningless similarities is borderline stupidity. Obama has nothing remotely akin to Lincoln's convictions or his strength of character.
