I am Tired of Reading and Hearing About Obama's Inexperience, I am Also Tire of It In

Governing means making your own educated decisions to do what you think is best for your state. Representing means you do what they want you to do (allegedly). Which is something Obama is good at. He is a puppet for somebody.

For about the 20th time, explain how numbers make you a good leader....

*I am looking forward to your answer since you believe police officers jobs are not dangerous.

And for the 50th time, being a state senator from Chicago is more difficult then being the mayor of Possum Trot, Tn.

I never said being a police officer wasn't a dangerous job, I said it wasn't the most dangerous job, its not in the top 5 either. Of course, that was all you needed to fabricate some comment and attribute it to me, but I'm getting used to that on here.

I was directly responding to the claim that Obama had 3,000,000 constituents as state senator - he did not.

I also pointed out there is a distinction between governing and representing.

However I agree that arguing about experience between these two is a futile exercise. I've stated over and over - I'm with McCain because of his policy stances. I'm against Obama because of his policy stances.

He represented the city of chicago as a state senator, and the city is the 3rd largest in the U.S. with 3 million, I didn't have the exact number of people in his district at hand, but I knew it was huge.

I would agree with you if Obama were a white republican male trying to represent the South side of Chicago. As it was, he's the product of one of the most corrupt political machines in the country. If voting "present" over half the time is hard work, then you'll have a point.

What does Possum Trot have to do with any thing?

Go ahead and believe law enforcement is not a dangerous job!

How is it more difficult? Because there are more people? So what? He did not have to deal with a budget, nor did he have to deal with other branches of government. Even in Possum trot there would be a school board, utility companies, law enforcement, etc to deal with. A state senator just goes around and supposedly talks to people to see what they want him to try to get the people higher up than him to do. Basically he's an appointed begger.

He refuses to answer the question....... for some reason if you have numbers you are a leader.

Wright was nothing but a political move. Obama had to get into the political machine in Chicago and Wright was his right of passage.

He represented a district that happened to be in Chicago - along with 20 or so others.

I'm not into the numbers game but just correcting the assumption.

Put another way he was a state senator representing Chicago, not the state senator representing Chicago.

If you can't grasp how the problems facing a city of 5000 (i.e. Possum Trot, Tn) pale in comparison to the problems facing a city of 3 million (Chicago) then we can end our discussion now because it's pointless, you don't posess rudimentary reasoning necessary.

Apparently is more prestigious than being governor of a state..........

Why is it pointless...... you believe that Obama represented 3 million people........

You are wrong!

As a state senator, he represented the 13th District with a population of 781K, more then the population of Alaska with 600K.

Anything else from the peanut gallery? You going to tell us how important her experience was head of the PTA while she was part time mayor?

I knew you are angry person but really?

Things we have learned........

Leadership = people..... you cannot be an effective leader unless you have x amount of people.

the peanut gallery understands that being a representative is not the same as governing...you choose to ignor that point

here's the part where you're going to tell me how important it is that Obama is a constitutional scholar and was an adjunct professor, right.

You are obsessed with titles and size and so forth. You have some inadequacies from life experiences that cause you to be obsessed with these? Ideas, processes and so forth stand the test of time. The size of the population makes no difference. You either know how to manage money, people, etc. or you don't. Having more of it to mismanage says nothing about your abilities, it just says you were in charge of managing more of it. I've managed operations with 2 people and operations with 200+ people. The fundamentals do not change.
