I'll concede this one to you. You're right - DiPietro the Phantom, Alabama Dave, and Jimmy the Cheek have never bled orange and they never will.

With CCM, we'll win MOST of the games we're supposed to, lose most we're supposed to, and finish fourth or fifth in the conference in our pretty good years. That's pretty much what we can expect here. If we're happy with that, then fine. I can almost promise, no big surprise winning seasons. This coaching staff is middle of the road IQ, at best.

Only thing that worries me about Pearl, and believe me, if it were up to me, he would start the day after his suspension is lifted, is I'm afraid recruiting will suffer. Every coach will use his show cause against him. The second go-round might be very different than the first. To every mom and dad out there, he will be a cheater.

Yeah, I see what you mean. It has really hampered Cal's recruiting at Kentucky, he can't hardly sign a three star after leaving two programs in flames.

Those losses last year against Austin Peay and College of Charleston killed us. Also, the loss at home to Pittsburg. The losses to UTEP and NC State are really going to hurt us this year. As poor as the SEC is right now getting a second does not mean much. We have to win those out of conference games.
