Who was that one quarterback who had a pretty successful season his first year? Tee Martin or something like that...

UT will probably lose 4-5 next year. Not supposed to be the break-out year. Try to keep up.

The talent gap between UF and UT will never be that big again while Kiffin is still here. Just FYI.
I don't doubt that.

However I think UT loses to UF next year and the year after.

2012 you guys should be poised to make a legit title run...along with UF and Bama if Meyer and Saban (and Kiffin) all stick around.

Would you believe I have pictured him like that guy since he started posting here? Didn't have pictured like Will Smith, but I do now. :)

Wrong.

Tennessee had the following recruiting classes before Fulmer:

2002- #5
2003- #7
2004- #9
2005-#1
2006-#24
2007-#4

Under Kiffin:

2009- #8
2010- #7

No difference.

there's basically no one left from the 05 class and you left out 2008 which was #35. Having classes ranked over 20 just can't happen anymore

What a reach. If you listen to the Tuesday post-practice interview, Meyer says that UF has a ton of depth at DE, so it is stunning, and it hurts, and it is a distraction, but that UF will be ready.

You UT people are blinded by hatred for this guy.

My point was that Tennessee had top 10 recruiting classes four of the last 6 years under Fulmer. Tennessee has always gotten their share of good recruits so having Lane Kiffin won't change anything in that regard. Perhaps good coaching will make UT competitive with Florida again but it remains to be seen if Kiffin is a good enough coach to accomplish that.
