Well there was that one time when Pete Carroll dubbed him CO-offensive coordinator with Sark. After seeing the body of work from both of them.....it is easy to now see who the real brains of the USC offense was.

The work he did with Crompton, and the results he had against UGA/SC are certainly concerning. He had a couple of games where the play calling wasn't great but his resume is definitely more accomplished than any of the other OCs Saban has hired.

You are hallucinating if you think that Taj Boyd, Fulmer, and Chavis could have beaten any Alabama team in the last 4 years. Saban owned Fulmer.

Look at he cut the legs out from under Tennessee

Look at how USC sank under his watch

Lane Kiffin is a pariah. His pathetic play calls at USC got them beaten by lesser talented teams. Nick Saban has lost his mind if he has hired this guy. Too many fans are dreading Kiffin's return. I am looking forward to it, because history says he will bring Bama to it's knees.

Maybe for new vol fans but for most of us we have seen them come and go. The game will and should be bigger than any one mans name.

What world do you live in? The University had barely any coaching changes for thirty years, only to fire a national championship winning coach, who also played at said university, for an unproven coach from the West Coast that bolted after the first season. I have been watching $hit football for 4 years because of his antics.

Oct. 25 is when Kiffin comes to town. You can't honestly say that this game is not meaningful to this fan base or to a coach who must prove that he can field a team that can beat a national title competitor. It just is.

This thread is stupid. Bama was awesome way before Kiffin. When they beat the snot out of us again this year it won't have anything to do with him. This is just a lame attempt to add significance to this game. Kiffin is old news and he will be embarrassed simply due to the fact that he will come into our stadium as a lowly coordinator. That is humbling enough.

Fulmer and Chavis faced Saban at Alabama twice. They lost 41-17 and 29-9. The team that beat us 41-17 was Saban's first at
Alabama, and finished 6-6.

It seems that Fulmer and Chavis failed to get revenge for the 31-20 loss to a vastly inferior LSU team , coached by Saban, in the 2001 SEC Championship Game.
