He seemed to be friends with Donovan while he was here. And, it really isn't appropriate right now for him to show up at TBA for games; that just wouldn't be fair to the current staff. And, UK's only 2.5 hours from Knoxville. I guess he wanted to see a big game live, so that's what he picked.

Actually, he has shown up to UT games according to others on the board.

Then, he's done a great job staying in the background. I didn't mean to imply that he isn't "welcome" as a fan. If he's been at home games, then he's managed to do it without his presence becoming a story in the media and thus a distraction. I mean - it's cool if a fan approaches him, and he takes a pic and signs an autograph, but he shouldn't be setting up an official autograph table on the TBA concourse.

My guess is hackney has a Suite up there. That's an easy way to go unnoticed for the most part.

The only other coach to get a D1 job did not have anywhere near the ability to win year in and year out like Bruce has. Trust me he will not sit idle and its not like the old days so look for him at an SEC school.

My Dad met Bruce Pearl at a golfing tourny a few years ago. Said he was a great character and seemed genuinely nice.

I'm not a Bruce Pearl fans by any means (basketball contributions aside I mean), but I do appreciate how he has laid low and let Martin work.

I really worried it was gonna be like an ugly divorce and get public and just not be good for us. I think he realized though, it'd hurt him as well, best thing for both parties is to just go on about their business.

He has a Basketball show on Sirius Radio. Probably went because he thought it would be a good game and wanted to see these teams play live.

Wont matter how they do in Memorial. Cats cant lose on a neutral or home floor to 99.999% of the teams in the country. UNC, Cuse, Ohio State are the only ones who could give them a game on a neutral site right now.

I remember many saying wvu stood no chance 2 years ago as well. How'd that turn out?

That's why they play the game, don't count your chickens before they hatch.

This team is better than Wall's team. Upsets happen, and ANY team can lose in March. I'm not saying UK will win it all, but I am saying they are the best team in America right now. Dont kick your dog.
