I still support CCM

CCM cannot coach offense, his motto is play defense and keep it close and we'll see what happens down the stretch..............he has NO offensive mentality! For you youngsters that don't know where he gets it from, just pull out old Purdue film when Gene Keady coached (and counzo played) and these are the EXACT same games!!!

I've been relatively neutral about this staff, but the early season offense has me seriously concerned. We look, in a nutshell, uncoached.

Once upon a time, we had an under-talented team and a talented coach.
Now, we have a talented team and an under-talented coach.
I prefer the good old days. At least that team/coach combination could pull off an upset now and then and advance past the first game of a tournament.

But those old Purdue teams played physical ball in the half court, used their picks, worked hard to get the ball to the rim and they hit free throws. This team does none of that.

His philosophy on defense does not lead to many transition baskets. He is wasting this team's length on the defensive end.

What's up man? Long time no see. I'm playing poker with our mutual friend Mark this Saturday.

Just trying to survive the dark days of UT sports. Wish I could make it over to take you guys' money, but I'm on call :)

I want Bruce back. I like CCM but Bruce had me watching basketball.

I don't care that Bruce Pearl made a mistake and had recruits over for a barbeque and lied about it. I care that Coach Martin may as well be having a bbq on the sideline. "Maymon... you ordered the.. chicken burger right? That was you I swear."

Bruce was awesome. Bring him back.

When Bruce was our coach, getting excited about UT basketball was as natural and as easy as taking a breath, even when we had a mediocre roster. I’m having an extremely difficult time feeling any excitement whatsoever about this current team even though we’re putting some really talented players on the floor. It’s just impossible to blame this Cuonz-stipated offense on anyone but the head man.

Which means I support the guy on the bench until he's not there, regardless of my opinion on his suckiness. Been that way for 25 years and won't change. As long as he's on the bench and coaching our players, he gets support. If an asst comes in, he gets the same.

So, you supported Dooley after the UK loss?

Hence the people on here labeling themselves the regulars of Bball VolNation.

Who's still excited about our rematch with Xavier? I honestly am hoping for anything but that at this point.

Finally Maymons out of the game... Oh wait, it's cause he fouled out. It took NCAA rules to get a guy out of the game who should have came out of the game after 10 minutes.
