Mark Twain once said, "Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it."

If he were alive today and a Vol fan, I think he'd say the same thing about UT sports and its coaching. Most Vol fans support the program all the time and the leadership when it deserves it.

The sickening thing about it is in 2 interviews he expected that defense and a few others and still couldn't game plan an effective answer for any of them. Why are we going through this we had a basketball coach.:crazy:

Love this post n not sure why so many people hate vol fans that believe this.

Tenn is bigger than any one person or staff n these guys r hired to succeed n when they don't they have to go.. Nothing personal just go.

Btw ccm will be fired because this team is going nowhere

we still start SLOW every year!!! I know some will say...long season, we will still make tourney, blah blah blah...they probably have valid points and stats to back that up. I just know what my eyes see and I'm sick and tired of not seeing improvement. If this was against Xavier again...i could deal with it better...but we should beat f"ing UTEP every time...I'm sick of losing games we should win...uninspired coaching and players talking all offseason to get beat by UTEP...maybe work harder, do less "my story" videos...start backing up all that talk!

No way in hell should you support cuonzo now. He had 6 days to prepare for this game and came out and laid an egg. His coaching is pathetic and honestly so is his recruiting. we cant win with bringing in a 5 star or high rated 4 star and then 2 and three stars. We have no depth. We constantly onlyt have one scoring option in every lineup and sometimes NONE! Bottom line this guy sucks #BringBackBruce #FireCuonzo

It truly is looking like cuonzo was a bad hire I'm not going to say it but we are getting close to look for a new coach.

Well I'm still in town and interested in buying that 'bandwagon' you boys are so fond of.....of course I can't offer what I was a couple of weeks ago....its probably going to need new springs and suspension after last night...let me know....if my timing is right I'll be able to have it back on the market around early April, new colors, new slogans and new hope....

Don't worry , Ole half season Martin will get it together just in time to make the NIT.. Sloppy bunch. I've never been impressed with K-Martin. Because that's were we got him. Blue light special..

I was as pissed as everyone else but there is no use in me not supporting a coach and team while they are on the sidelines. That's just how I roll. Was I ready for him to go? Sure. Especially after Florida. Am I ready for CM to go? Getting close. But that doesn't mean I don't hope he turns it around somehow. I just don't see it happening. Until he is gone, I hope he and the players win and will support their efforts.
I'm not as emotional about it as most.

short memory? His last season had some bad losses, with a 1st rd NBA pick on the floor and Maymon sitting on the bench while Steven played too many minutes.

Having said that, he absolutely would be getting more out of this team, I agree.

CCM needs to go the way of Derek Dooley...Get rid of the last piece of Hamilton garbage and get us a coach in here who can actually coach................I miss Bruce :-(

There is a reason CCM isn't paid as well as his colleagues in the SEC.... if we miss the tourny again, he is undoubtedly gone
