The loser of OSU and Michigan will drop to 5 and that is our ticket no matter who else wins out... We will play Georgia on a turf field where I think our receivers will find much better footing and Dylan Sampson is coming along at the right time... It's almost like we threw that game to avoid a potential late loss in Atlanta... A loss that late in the Season and there is no chance we make it.... Since we were number 1...

Losing like that is usually a good long-term strategy.

Everyone forgetting a possible 1 loss pac12 team. Still need TCU and USC to lose. Heck, even a 1 loss ACC Champion/ Clemson could still jump as later.
OP already explained why we don’t need TCU to lose, and the likelihood that USC (the only remaining 1-loss Pac team) will go unscathed the rest of the season is vanishingly small. And no, the ACC champ is not going to jump us, that statement is absolutely asinine.

Tennessee will not get in over a 1 loss PAC or ACC champ. Still a higher probability that we miss the CFP.
You think a team that got boat raced by a 3 loss Notre Dame and plays in a cupcake conference (ACC) gets the nod over us? Good grief some of y’all are delusional! You will bend over backwards to tell yourself we don’t make it because of…what? Fear of disappointment? You enjoy being miserable? It’s ridiculous at this point. Clemson?! Seriously?

Wtf are you talking about? Welcome to the board, but dang, that’s a terrible first post. We got our tails handed to us on a silver platter. “Threw the game” my arse… 😂

I thought we played them on a turf field before. Isn't Sanford stadium real Bermuda turf (not artificial)? I think Neyland is similar... real turf but not sure what kind.

I am starting to think they would put a 2 loss SEC champ LSU in over us. I know we beat them by 27 on the road, and the odds of them beating Georgia are very very slim. But if it happened I could see them getting in and Georgia dropping to #4 and sneaking in, leaving us out to dry. They won’t put us in over the SEC champ unless it is Georgia.

We do NOT want Michigan beating OSU. If that committee has OSU and UT both with a single loss, I have no doubt....zero...who that committee chooses. Nope. UGA and OSU keep winning. OSU blows out Michigan. Anyone beats TCU and for good measure, someone knocks off USC. We get those wishes answered and I like our chances.

Yes, we will back into the playoffs.
But UGA is for real.

I Still think Tennessee is the team to beat them tho...
