Turn my fan card in??????? I bet you said the same thing when I was telling all of you that Dooley had to go after year 2.....Iit would have saved us an entire year of this mess that we are in....I have been a fan since I was old enough to begin speaking.....UT deserves excellence not what Dobbs has to offer....maybe fans like yourself who accept mediocrity should be the .ones turning yoyr cards in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in Knoxville and read the paper everyday. CBJ has said those things and that is the truth. The facts are the official depth chart before RF was hurt had JD 2a RF 2b. So they made depth chart mistakes for 3 straight game? The fact is Dobbs came in against no1 Bama and put up the most points in 7 games against them. He played well vs Mizzou and ok vs AU. Without North he had no weapons against VU. Dobbs has made true freshman mistakes like not throwing the ball away. Under the circumstances he has played well. No true freshman, not even the mythical RF would have done better and most would have done worse.

#1) Who said Peterman wasnt a RS?

#2) This isnt a "must win" game against Kentucky. Winning or losing the game will not have any impact on anything other than seniors going out on a high note.

Oh I get that, but as a coaching staff, you dont burn an entire year of eligibility for a player for that. Especially a QB in a year you dont have any recruited.

For F's sake, settle down before you have a stroke and kill what little brain cells you have left.

The kid is a freshman who was our only option. He obviously wasn't ready at that point but it doesn't mean he cannot become better. Worley looked like hot garbage at the start and he has no where near the physical skillset Dobbs does but he has experience.

Like it or not almost all our other options are injured at this point. Unless you want to double down on the stupid and play an injured and inexperience true freshman and burn his redshirt.

No one should be ready to close the book on Dobbs imo. Jacob Carter played almost every snap after North got hurt, and there was no serviceable TE. Pig juggled a pass OOB, Smith dropped another catchable ball, Croom is too passive; routes were constantly cut short of the 1st down marker. Granted Dobbs had some poor throws, but he just wasn't getting a whole lot of help.

The redshirt year should do wonders for Ferguson, and if indeed he's as good as advertised he should wrap up the job this spring. It would be huge if Dobbs pushes him and is a solid #2, since the days of SEC starters going unscathed are a thing of the past.

Many on here feel your pain but think about what you're saying. Burn a red-shirt with one game left? All this will be sorted out over the long winter into spring. Next year team #118 will be a totally different and better animal.

I don't want to see ferguson against UK because he isn't healthy. According to various people who've seen him he appears to be the real deal and has a legit chance to win the competition before next season.

If he is really good enough to beat out Worley for the job next season, why take the chance of injuring his already fractured leg even more? That would be terrible for his development and would possibly take a season out of his career here.

Ain't happening but look for him in opener next season. I can see him starting or at least first off the bench, anyways.

No I didn't support Dooley after year 2. I don't like anything less than a BCS bowl game I will take a lower bowl just for the practice with the early enrollees. I support the coaches decision because he is there everyday watching them practice and is a head coach of a Great program are you? If you are then why are you on here posting and not worrying about your own team or did they already get knocked out of their playoff or bowl game. Fans like you are the type that make some recruits not come to UT if they have a bad game they give them death threats (not saying you did that) and calling for them to be benched if they don't turn out to be Peyton.

Thanks Peyton for joining this forum. yeah I seen bad QB play too butbibalso seen a lot of bad WR play,line play burnt don't see you calling for them to be benched when we are suppose to have the top of the line o-line saying lets see the freshman and sophomores we have on the team that are better. Just calm down about the QBs both Dobbs and Furgeson will make good QBs Dobbs is getting the start

Dobbs performed the worst except maybe Josh Smith....there is zero excuse for 50 something passing yards against Vandy....zero....oh yeah and zero tds thrown in 4 games....that has to be some kind of record. The defnse and running game looked good this weekend...all ee needed was a qb who could complete a pass past the 5 yard marker.
