Anyone who wants to wager that Bruce Pearl will be the coach in the '10-'11 season is welcome. Just wait and see. Things are going to get ugly on a number of fronts. It doesn't make me happy, but it is reality.

What do you know that many of us do not. Is it that most of the team's favorite things to do is to watch cartoons and play video games. That maybe reality and I guess we can blame Pearl for lack of adult supervision. Sponge Bob Square Pants is a favorite.

He may or may not be the coach in a couple years. The way this team rose to the top of the SEC in such a short amount of time, there was bound to be a year where "rebuilding" was going to occur. This team plays a lot of guys who weren't here last year.

On the other hand, this team looks like it's developing players more for the And 1 league than the NBA. Defense is non-existent and the offense consists of either jacking up a long 3 or throwing an alleyoop off the backboard. How they beat Marquette and Georgetown is beyond me, but they did and those are quality wins. Recruiting is going pretty good for the future so I think calling Pearl's time here limited is a bit premature but, that's just me.

I will say this with absolute certainty, the 'AA still has interest in Ramar Smith's "transcript." Daniel West's test scores are another issue.

Thanks. That sounds very serious. And, the last thing I want is a coach who cheats. We've never been on probation, and I want to keep it that way.

I just find it hard to believe, and, admittedly, I don't want to believe, that a coach who was black-listed for pointing the finger at another school would cheat to get players eligible.

Because almost every major coach who has had a problem getting a player eligible the last two years has bitched to the 'AA about Ramar's transcript.

I'm not accusing Bruce of anything. I'm simply relating that there are multiple coaches, mainly in the Midwest, who think UT has engaged in some shenanigans related to transcripts and test scores coming out of Michigan.

I watched the game Saturday. Defense was horrible, no real three point threat to loosen up the looks inside. Forcing shots when plenty of time for better looks is available, especially the younger players. This team has a long way to go. We won't win the conference unless we improve drastically.
