Just because somebody is in the band doesn't mean they are geeks or nerds. Just like the athletes on the field it takes talent to play any instrument. If you make fun of people who are or were in a band then please do your self a favor and DO NOT sing rocky top at the ball games when out pride of the south land band is playing it...

Yeah, my two kids were in the band in HS.....one played trumpet and melophone the other played Sax. This was when they weren't playing lacrosse, ice hockey, baseball, and rugby.
