Sorry GSVOL but i have to agree with the masses on this one. I don't post on the politics board anymore because 90% of the posters just wanna bash obama for every LITTLE thing. Some poster did make valid points towards his policies and decision, but alot these guys just seemed like backwood rednecks who would love to hang obama from a tree because he bowed to someone out of respect, or because they believe the american president is really a terrorist hired by Osama to weaken america.

BUT i do still enjoy reading the politics board because it's a great place to get information, hear the republican point of view, and get some laughs. But for every good thread that gives readers relevant information, and is short and sweet, you post 23 more threads A day that are lengthy, boring, and worse of all get 0 responses from other posters yet you keep posting on the thread as if you are responding to yourself.Bacteria being used as Fuel is wonderful and everything, but gimme a break.

I have nothing against you or your views, all i am saying is i can see why the other posters are more than tired of your campaign to take over the political Forum. I don't think your gonna stop until Freak renames it "The GSVOL Hour, with your host GSVOL". It's a free country(kinda) so you can do whatever you want, I'm just stating my opinion that maybe these guys have a point, thats all.

The "head in sand" segment of our regular posters can't seem to accept the concept of paying attention to what is going on in this country.

For instance the dot to dot connection of the Seattle cop killers to our current (possibly constitutionally illigitimate) POTUS.

Footnote; Andrea Mitchel is either a sorry POS or a total moron.

This certainly isn't the first such action in the same area.

These types of murders are attemped to be written off as mental ilness acts but the truth isn't to be denied.

If we can ever get past the point of accepting the realities of the current situation I would really like to discuss the propaganda used to recruit these young jihadists.

Mainly that the people who they target are far less to blame for the hardships of their ancestors than the ones who are now using them to further their purposes of world domination.

Most important is the fact for young American's of African extraction is the fact that American's of European extraction on the whole have been far better their friends than Arabic muslim peoples have been.

I have never been a Huckabee fan.

Arkansas politics has been corrupted beyond descritption for quite a while imo.

Huckabee had no business commuting the sentence.

The discussion has gone around here a few times, but it boils down to the ability of our missile defense system (or any missile defense system) to actually work when all target variables are considered at once (such as background signatures and decoys/countermeasures). It is extremely difficult for an unmanned object flying that fast to make the kind of lightening fast adjustments needed at close range for the hit-to-kill philosophy when tricks or less-than-ideal conditions are present. I do not think that our current technology is there, though I don't have those facts. I used to have a position that I never thought it could even get there, but I've backed off that because I really don't *know* that. If anyone can do it, it's us.

And, no, my position on AGW hasn't changed.

as I see it, we will use the target kill for max range hits and the the proximity kill if it goes past a certain stage. That's my take on the modeling behavior the US is leaning towards.

Once the boost phase is over the threat goes ballistic and its trajectory (and position along the trajectory) can be predicted with great accuracy, using basic Newtonian physics.

Hit to kill isn't the problem, like you said before, it is everything else it has to deal with once the kill vehicle gets close.
