But I've seen the error of my ways.

The composure of this team in tough moments in this tourney has really impressed me. Cunzo has done well in preparing and getting the team focused. Regardless of what happens with Mercer, I'm sold on giving Cunozo a big bump in pay and extension.

Cunozo is my coach based upon what I've seen since the Florida game, but more primarily because of the way he handled the Iowa head coaches son's ordeal, and the way the players responded after the game to that head coach.

That is an impressive basketball team to have such maturity instilled upon them by their head coach to be strong men with moral character.

Love it.

The most supportive person on this board would be hard pressed to say they have been 100% behind Martin this year. After his second A& M loss we all were thinking who's next.

Glad for him but thrilled for the Vols

You're certainly not alone, Crew. The guys won on toughness and didn't fall into serious lapses vs both Iowa and UMass. Those propensities are instilled by excellent coaching. I think Cuonzo's progressed within the learning curve. Let's just hope I won't be be eating my words when lowly Mercer shows up with some surprises.

I'm excited about our route and results so far in this year's tournament. CCM should be evaluated again after next year and 1 tourney appearances in 4 years isn't good enough. If he can reel off 2 in a row without having his best roster since he's been here, tack on another 2 years.

These players seem to believe in their coach. They play hard and are peaking exactly when they're supposed to based on how CBB is set up. I admit, I've scratched my head more than once this season.

Problem is, Pearl should have never been coveted, IMO. It's such a weak mindset to think no one else was capable (or willing) to lead this team successfully. As it appears now, it was ignorant to promote that idiotic petition. Funny how some have disappeared after that debacle.

Hoping Cuonzo will want to stay as he may soon be in hot demand. After the dumb petition to bring Perl back who knows how Cuonzo will feel if someone approaches him. I'm amazed at this fan base for trying to push such a great man (and coach) out of here. Thank GOD players knew better than casual fans - I love how hard they have been playing for him (win or lose).

I find it hilarious how quickly some people flip flop. Even BTO, CCM's biggest defender was far less supportive of him when the BP pressure was at it's highest, and Stoked4zo abandoned him altogether. The plain truth is CCM deserved the criticism he received at times this year and he deserves credit for how the team is performing now. I just wish more fans would be consistent. I hate fans who blow with the wind, Reminds me of a bunch of Rush Limbaugh supporters, who lack the ability to think / for themselves and have to follow the popular trend of the moment.

No need to "apologize". They are finally who we thought they were. Let's see how this year and the next play out.

The way I see it:

I'll keep cheering for CM as long as he wins. If he start losing , then I will go back to being a hater.

Thank you

I'm older and a little more level headed than some, sometimes. But even I jumped off CCM bandwagon when it got bad cause he did look lost. I think some of that has to do he is so vanilla and that can be taken wrong at times. After looking over body of work, I think he is coaching the same way but players are responding different. This bodes well for him and us. I think he is learning how to coach better each and every game. We as a fan base will always ebb and flow with wins and losses, but this at least gives him some street cred that we can believe in and will make some loses (not TA&M type) better in the future, so that the lows won't be to sign a petition!!! As he progresses maybe we as a fan base will also!!! We all love the Vols so let's enjoy the ride!!! GBO

And yet you're posting in the bball forum

So because I don't like the product on the court, that some how means I can't talk about it? That's nice.

I haven't liked the product we've put on the football field lately either, guess I shouldn't have been talking about football either. I get it now. Thanks.

I am amazed how so many people have flipped due to two games, what about the other 90+ are they playing really well right now? Sure. Too often it is boring basketball I have watched too many games where I wasn't sure they were going to hit 40. This team has a lot of talent, this is what they should have been doing all year. Trust me no one is coming after Martin, he will be here next year and knowing the morons in power he will get an extension

Funny UT scored more points today than the BP elite 8 squad scored during any game in that run. BBORRRRING
