Wow, Pearl is really that good and he took the Vols to the tournament more times than he was coach here? Now THAT'S impressive. Smdh.

I am a big time Vol fan and this is my first time ever posting in a thread. I am currently an AD at a High School and have wanted to be an AD for a long time due to what Tennessee's AD have shown me. I honestly feel that i could do the job of Dave Hart right now and do it better. I know that will rub a lot of people the wrong way but lets sit back and cap the last 5 years of Tennessee AD decision making...

Football

2008 - Hired Lane Kiffin who we all know is a joke and was a joke before Tennessee. He might still be our coach if he wanted to stay as we have a reputation in keeping proven losers.

2010 - Hired a PROVEN loser in Derek Dooley (17-20 record at Louisiana Tech)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Basketball

2011 - Hire Cuanzo Martin. Takes team to NIT 2 years straight and is currently making Tennessee an embarrassment in basketball. The talent on this team is incredible and they lose to bad teams and can't beat good teams.

How many years do we sit back and accept Tennessee being mopped up. I am not very old but watching Tennessee as a child brought goosebumps and now its embarrassing to wear the orange ( I wear it almost every day) My goal is to become a big time AD one day and with all that has gone on at Tennessee, my dream is becoming more realistic. Who can fire Dave Hart? Who can turn this program around? (not just football) We lose recruits all the time because our reputation of NIT and can'e beat Florida.

Can someone explain to me how this is still happening and how Cuanzo Martin still has a job? I watch every game and they get worse by the day.

I have no problem at all with letting Martin go and moving on. Next please. If we could just for once be as good as the women's team. If this team just had Wayne Chism and Chris Lofton.

I was referring to the report that UT's attorneys had a copy of the picture 6 days prior to the interview. I'm not an attorney but those interviews should be conducted under full disclosure and the coaches not surprised by evidence. That being said you still can't excuse Pearl's lie. But to have his career completely shattered and a three-year ban was over the top.

2) Not to be mean, but for the most part people don't really care about women's basketball.
