It’s not possible anymore now that A&M lost to Auburn, but under the scenario that A&M had won, it’d pretty much go toThat would really suck if Texas and Texas A&M had to play each other in 2 straight weeks.
There is absolutely no ***** way Boise is a 4 seedCFP Projection:
1. Oregon (Seed 1)*
2. OSU (Seed 5)
3. TX (Seed 2)*
4. Penn St (Seed 6)
5. ND (Seed 7)
6. Miami (Seed 3)*
7. UGA (Seed 8)
8. UT (Seed 9)
9. Boise St (Seed 4)*
10. SMU (Seed 10)
11. Indiana (Seed 11)
12. Bama
13. Clemson
14. Ole Miss
15. ASU (Seed 12) *
In this scenerio the Vols would need someone above them other than Oregon or OSU to lose to move up and host a game in the first round.
Next weeks games:
UT @ Vandy
GT @ UGA
ND @ USC
MD @ PSU
MIA @ SYR
I believe even if OR or OSU lose next week they would remain above UT. Whereas the Vols with a win over Vandy and a loss by ND or PSU would almost guarantee the Vols to host a 1st round game.
But wouldn't the ticket distribution be at 50/50? That would help a bunch. As of now we look to be traveling back to Athens to play Georgia in the playoffs. We need Texas to lose to Georgia again. Maybe Texas even needs lose to A&M to avoid that circus tent in Athens, where the people woof and the refs perform magic with their flags.
We can move up with a loss from Notre Dame, Texas, Georgia, Penn State, or Ohio State next week. Maybe if Georgia or Texas loses in the SEC Championship it rearranges things.
I don’t think TN will move ahead of Notre Dame or Penn State on SOS. Anywhere but Athens though. I would mind going to Happy Valley to whip Rape State. A game in South Bend doesn’t seem as scary as the refs in Athens.
I've been trying to figure this out and without another loss somewhere, I don't think we host without another loss. Hear me outLikely but they will be in the bottom 4 now aka they won’t be hosting a playoff game like they were slated to coming into this week. With that scenario and a Bama loss, that means two teams replace Bama/Indiana as hosting teams for first round. That would mean Rocky Top hosts a playoff game.

5 is gonna be Ohio State/Oregon loser as long as they both won.next week.
6/7 notre dame and Pedo State
8.as of rn would be Georgia,.no? Even if they lose the seccg, o don think they will be punished and put below Tennessee unless it's bad if Texas loses l, then ..maybe. Again, I think a.seccg/bigtencg loss isn't being counted as a real loss
I keep.coming back to PSU or nd has to lose for us to get a spot as a host
That's not the rules. Four highest conf champions is the rulesSure they are if they win the B12. Thems the rules.
