Does it occur to any of you that perhaps Hart would have fired Dooley - but no one worth his salt wants to coach at UT? I mean with this rational fan base and all.

We broke records on offense and won. The defense was horrible but what's new? If he survived last Monday, he will this week too

I knew all week long that Troy's offense would work over our defense.They played Miss.State better than we did.

No we haven't embraced crap. The desire of the fanbase shows we won't settle for mediorcity. Kids can't coach themselves, although at this point that's prob not a bad idea...

I hate to say it but I don't see it. Can we? Yes. Will we? Not sure. As Dooley said before half time they have to coach the players up and I don't see him as the guy to coach anyone up.

My wife who is an alum just like me has nothing to do with football. Even she said yesterday where is the emotion, the enthusiasm??? I said bring excitement and fire is not one of Dooley's strong points. She said then I would get a new coach. Out of the mouthes of babes.

I say fire him at the end ofthe season. Doing it now could hurt, they have a chance to make a bowl game. canning him now could effect the team and they drop 2 of the next three games and kill any bowl bid. Look what hapen whin fulmer was canned mid season. the team just shut down. Wait until season is over then give him a swift kick in the arse out the front door. jmo.

Some say this team is awful and that is flat out wrong...we have one of the best offenses in college football...we have a defense that is struggling bad...but to categorize this team as awful is not true. We have scored enough points in most all games to win but our defense has given up way too much. We are not awful...our defense is not getting it done. Whether Dooley is here or not...we have to make a change on defense but letting Dooley go now does nothing to fix our problems on defense. It only will shut up the rabid Dooley haters ...til we play our next game and get whipped then they can start in on someone else beacuse our team didn't magically convert to NC team when we got rid of Dooley. Set aside your hate of Dooley for 3 more games and then ***** and moan til your hearts content but right now the solution is not to get rid of him today or 48 hours or Wednesday....

I know alot of you will say that the rest of this season doesn't matter...it's a wash...but that is wrong...this is the last 3 games for some seniors on this team who have done their best for TN for 4 years and 3 coaches and this is it...no more for them...so it may be a wash to you but it's the end on their TN football career and I for 1 want it to be a good send off for all the sh!t they have had to endure, because what they are going through matters alot more to me than the arm chair AD, DC, OC and HC on here who are throwing their hissy fits...
