That was the whole point of what I was saying. Everyone wants to be a recruiting expert or say what the coaches should be doing. Go back read what was originally said. Which was support the team and let the coaches do thier jobs. No wonder no one can get a word in edgewise you guys are like a cult.

TOP 100 PROSPECTS NO LOCK FOR THE NFL

Only 22% get drafted -- Clausen was the no 1 rated college prospect in 2007, was drafted 48th. Bradford was not even ranked before college.

I am sure there were plenty of Oky fans giving their coach heck over signing Bradford.

Well "boss" I was expressing my opinion as a fan is that okay with you? Your right these kids are just star ratings on a piece of paper. Looks like I hit a nerve with ya so apparently my remarks meant something.

I get it higher rankings in recruiting means higher rankings in the polls. Just wish people would take a step back and enjoy what these kids do for the university. I'm gonna stop now before you accuse me of lecturing you.

Im pretty sure they didnt, he was not a five star but he was still like the number 8 pro-style QB.

ChavisUt stated on another post that Bradford was a high 3 star,, putting out of the top 250. if Oky's are like many on here, he would have not been good enough as a 3 star coming in as a recruit. Many on here base their talent on Stars instead of heart and desire. since there is not rating on heart and desire, I guess it is all we have though. Clearly it is not close to a perfect system.

What I am getting at is our coaches who evaluate for a living should be trusted and supported to bring in talent no matter what the star rating is. It is flat wrong to ridicule a player or the coach because a particular player is rated lower. they got a scholly, they are most likely very good players.
