That's a myth. Offensive and defensive linemen are not discriminated against. There are 4 and 5 star offensive and defensive linemen. There just aren't as many of them. That is a function of what it takes to be a great lineman, not a function of the recruiting services just not giving out high grades to those positions.

Harder to evaluate linemen. You'll see several Dan Williams and Montori Hughes signed by staffs who know how to evaluate the position. We still have to see if Dooley has it as far as player evaluation, I would imagine he has learned a thing or two from Saban there though.

im sorry if this has been discussed, as i dont feel like reading the whole thread, but has the OP looked at USCjr's current commit list?... they are ranked two spots ahead of us, and when jordan williams and vincent dallas commit to us, and Parker officially decommits, we will be ahead of them in the rankings, and still have two less commits than they will... not a very good example on his part
