Doesn't matter. This is an absolutely RETARDED argument. I'm so god @#%^ sick of BOTH SIDES of the leadership in this country fighting like 5 year olds over every miniscule issue that they think they can exploit against each other.

Can you give me a cite for the State of Texas taking any action on this? The school system in Texas is made up of many Independent School Districts and while some of those are not showing the program it is not a state wide event. Appears to me to be more of your "lawyer speak" aka lying.
The last two Presidents have needed no outside help to embarrass themselves, the current one less than the last.
Thanks for the response. To be more correct, the AISD was not showing it live and that is the same city that spent $300,000,000 of city monies on the new Cowboy Stadium.
It is interesting that you live in a state where many of the citizens can't even operate a simple voting machine and you call Texas azz-backwards.
Although a state that keeps re-electing Rick Perry as Governor may well deserve that moniker.
I was in favor of showing the feed as a delayed broadcast to allow it to be reviewed prior to the children seeing it. I know what Obama said about no political content but that wouldn't be the first time he let the truth confuse him would it?
I suppose that would be a fine solution in principle. In practice, however, parents stupid enough to think that Obama would use such a speech as a political tool would no doubt find something in it to justify their worry. Especially if they were told to do so by FOX or Matt Drudge.
that's a link with the title of the article and a pic. You truly think that is influencing someone's opinion don't you?
Yes. Between him and FOX (mostly FOX, actually), I think millions of gullible, naive, simple minded, bigoted, and poorly educated people every day get their marching orders on what to think.
You can see it in their eyes when they go to the Town Halls and shout the same tired slogans and then, when asked what they mean by the very terms they are using, their eyes glaze over.
Then they give you that same look Palin gave whenever she was interviewed and asked about something other than Moose or her clothes. This vapid, empty, scrambling for an answer that sounds right, but never is, kind of a look.
