that's what I was hearing last night on my way home from the airport.....the left is going to proclaim victory over the racist fear-mongerers but the real story was the change in the teacher's guide that no one will report on.

yup. i hate using teachers guides people hand me anyways. I prefer to do my own, chances are its more work on me, but it gives me a little sense of control of whats going on in my class

Can you give me a cite for the State of Texas taking any action on this? The school system in Texas is made up of many Independent School Districts and while some of those are not showing the program it is not a state wide event. Appears to me to be more of your "lawyer speak" aka lying.

The last two Presidents have needed no outside help to embarrass themselves, the current one less than the last.

Republican President speaks to students and the Democrats are in an uproar, ordered the General Accounting Office to investigate its production and later summoned top administration officials to Capitol Hill for an extensive hearing on the issue.

The Democrat President speaks and the Republicans complain, at least they aren't wasting taxpayer dollars on hearings, etc.

That's an interesting comment in that over the weekend I was listening to a sports show and they got into a little politics and the speech to the kids came up. The conservative guy went on about it for ten seconds and then confessed "Well, my problem really isn't with the president doing this as much as it is that I don't like the president being the president."

That, right there, is the truth.

a lot of ppl didn't like bush being the president. there were nazi signs, f bush tshirts, etc. i don't see why its any different than before

That's the truth for me as well. I don't like the president being the president either.

The only reasons are because he's a Liberal and a Democrat. That's good enough for me. :good!:
