"ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that the Seahawks' hire of USC's Pete Carroll to be their next head coach is "looming."
According to the LA Times, the Seahawks interviewed Carroll earlier this week, and Mortensen says he has "multiple sources now confirming" that Carroll will replace Jim Mora. Seahawks beat writer Danny O'Neil reports Carroll is in the process of building a coaching staff, specifically targeting UCLA defensive coordinator DeWayne Walker."

USC has some great recruits that we have been in on. Scroggins, Uko, Wright, Riley, Prather off the top of my head. Are there any other commits that we would be interested in on their list? Probably one of their TEs and Woods I would assume.

The Owner of the Seahawks is Co-Owner of Microsoft and also owns the Trailblazers...I guarantee they are offering Carroll a ridiculous amount of $$$. USC is under investigation for the McKnight kid and the program as a whole is taking pressure from alumni because of the losses they had...I wouldn't be surprised if this happens.

Pete Carroll is a smart man. This can only mean one thing: the NCAA is about to drop the hammer on USC, and he knows it. Doesn't make any sense otherwise.

No, he is going to the Cowboys for about $10 mil per year. They are just waiting on the Cowboys to loose to the Eagles on Sunday.

Yeah its basically done...HC/GM with Bates as OC.....If I was USC I would go after Sark(former OC) and Holt(former DC) at Washington to lessen the blow they would take in recruiting.
