Not if, but when the SEC expands to 16 teams, rest assured it will be in two separate states where no other SEC team currently resides. That's what makes Virginia Tech, NC State, NC, even Virginia so attractive. It's all about the 2 large metro markets in NC and the DC tv market in Virginia. However, UNC and Duke have committed to only move together, which excludes both schools from considerstion. That leaves Virginia Tech, NC State, and Virginia. It's all about TV dollars, and these teams tend to make the most sense. When the SEC Network officially kicks off in 2014, it will dwarf the Big 10 network in revenue, which is what pulled Maryland out of the ACC. Those SEC dollars will be too large for any school in today's economic times to turn down regardless of what they say publicly.
I agree with the exception of UNC to SEC and Duke to Big10. Outside of that I agree they stay together in the ACC.
