If the SEC expands to 16 teams

Not if, but when the SEC expands to 16 teams, rest assured it will be in two separate states where no other SEC team currently resides. That's what makes Virginia Tech, NC State, NC, even Virginia so attractive. It's all about the 2 large metro markets in NC and the DC tv market in Virginia. However, UNC and Duke have committed to only move together, which excludes both schools from considerstion. That leaves Virginia Tech, NC State, and Virginia. It's all about TV dollars, and these teams tend to make the most sense. When the SEC Network officially kicks off in 2014, it will dwarf the Big 10 network in revenue, which is what pulled Maryland out of the ACC. Those SEC dollars will be too large for any school in today's economic times to turn down regardless of what they say publicly.

I agree with the exception of UNC to SEC and Duke to Big10. Outside of that I agree they stay together in the ACC.

IU - PU is a much bigger rivalry in Indiana than IU - ND... And I know because I have family there...

ND is like the spoiled rich little brat no one likes...

Even down south, we love to hate ND...

I know because I'm a Hoosier by birth but thank God daily that I am a Boiler. Our rivalry makes Florida and Tennessee's bitter rivalry look like a cakewalk. The games get much more physical in the stands then they do on the court. ND is really the red headed step child... Purdue and IU hate them universally.

And ya ND thinks they crap roses, it's just they forgot they haven't been relevant for nearly 20 years. This year aside of course.

Why not add Houston and USF that would put us in the 10th and 13th largest tv markets

USF doesn't even own its own stadium and they draw about 10,000 to a game if they are lucky...Houston plays in a stadium that rivals some high schools in Texas...Not even a consideration.
