These threads are laughable "IF" this is true...OMG!?

Good Lord that title would indicate something like "Hart told Tee to walk to campus" or "Hart tells Tee we payed for the flight you can call your own taxi". I would guess the conversation was more like "we'll pick you up" to which Tee replied "that's ok I have my wife and son with me just reserve me a car. I know where the officers are." We know Tee drove to Powell to see his other son. I'm sure he didn't want a UT official driving him there. Just another sensationalized story about nothing.

...that was a clue this was a joke...read on a blog. Yea...UT was going to let someone pay their and their family own way from L.A to Knoxville, find their own transportation from the airport to the campus and then offer them $400K a year for two years.

I heard rumors on the board where Jones and Hart wouldn't match his salary from USC. That to me is a sign they didn't want him here and only interviewed him to please the fans.

Tee was really torn on this job but ultimately the wife wanted to stay in LA. Kiffin will probably get fired after next year and Tee will be interviewing again.

I'm betting his salary is no more than $300K. Kiffin's is around $2.4 and second in the PAC-12. Look at the other schools there and everywhere else. Heck; the WR coach for Alabama doen't make $300K.

The crew on 104.5 here in Nashville said the dollar offer to Tee was way more than the average "Position Coach". They even said he's probably in the $250-$300 range at USC. No-way is he making more.

His new deal at USC is for more than $500,000. He got it Sunday before he left for Knoxville, Kiffin was taking no chances that Tee would leave and his recruiting class would fall apart.

All the talk about whether Tee was physically capable of finding the right building on campus is entirely irrelevant. The bottom line is, when you have a business meeting of this magnitude, especially when a UT legend is involved, you send a freaking representative to pick him up and bring him to the meeting place. Period. If our AD cheaped out on such a routine bit of decorum, there is no telling what other incompetence they are capable of. These stories should paint a pretty good picture of why it was nearly impossible to get a coach to come here. Would you want to work with this band if misfit idiots in the AD? Fire the whole damn department and send Cheek packing for good measure. No more band aids, time for surgery.

I heard that Aliens landed in Oak Ridge Tennessee and were trying to steal the UT playbook to use it back on their planet. Seems they are big fans of American Football.
