This thread is kind of stupid. We're talking about practice. Not the game; practice...

Muschamp is young and will be on a learning curve this year.

I'm curious to see just how much he is going to rely on CW.

The SEC East is going to be historically bad this year. Wow.

Meh.

If by historically bad, you mean UF won't be the favorite, then you're right.

South Carolina and UGA will carry the division. I expect the Gamecocks to play in Atlanta and win it this time. Spurrier never got anything right on his first try.

Solely depends on Garcia.

East is a four team race with UT being the outside long-shot. And I do mean long shot.

I fully expect the east winner to be 5-3. It's all going to depend on who can win the division games.

I think the East is wide open. It will be a tight race this year with a game or two deciding it. None of the top 4 teams are clearly better than the other.

Florida may be a team you'd rather catch early. So for once the early match up might favor the Vols. Going to a entirely new system there is bound to be growing pains. The defense should be pretty stout though.

Let's be honest here. South Carolina is nothing more than an above average team, and I don't know how they'll fare without Garcia if he gets booted. Tennessee is probably just slightly better than last year. Georgia? Meh.

The East is going to have 4 "meh" teams, a below-average team, and a terrible team.

That first half was horrrrrible. Muschamp's defense looks totally dependable, and the offense looks horrid. If I didn't know any better, I'd actually think that Weis wasn't that good of a coach........

id say SC could beat anybody in the SEC again with all the talent they got on both sides

the QB doesnt need to be that good with the WR's they got plus the best RB and one of the best defenses

their gonna be tough

I'd be surprised to see SC get there again. The only reason they did last year was because UF, UGA, and UT all sucked, and they beat all three which just doesn't happen. Granted the three won't be great, I just don't see SC having the capability of taking advantage of something like this two years in a row. :birgits_giggle:

let's be honest

it's not like Garcia was Joe Montana or anything anyway

And while we are at it...let's just be honest here. :)

another team returning a bunch of talent is arky they get all those good WR's back plus the 1000 yd rusher davis

and imo wilson will be very good i think they'll beat bama or lsu not both tho

fun fact arky has beaten LSU in the last 3 out of 4 with much less talent

LSU is gonna be loaded this season.

They'll definitely be one of our 6 losses.

It's just a Spring game, and it's a new coaching staff. Given that the head coach was a DC, a good defensive showing and an offense that's still finding its way are what should be expected.

i wouldnt say that we kept it close last yr and if jefferson is QB again we def have a chance

But Brantley is our QB, so everyone we play has a chance.

I look forward to UT and UF battling for the East in 2012. I expect UF to take another step backwards this season before getting back to championship contender form in '12.

he could be benched by then i think its gonna be really obvious we need a mobile QB next yr or atleast somebody that can make something happen when the pocket collapses

Murphy looked decent in the spring game. I was happy to see that we put in complex offensive wrinkles like a play action QB rollout.
