If UF's Spring Game Is Any Indication.....

I am about as pessimistic a UT fan as you will find, but it certainly looks like things are starting to fall into place. There are quite a few ifs next year for the Vols, but none of them seem quite as glaring as the rest of the division.

Agreed. I think 2012 is the judgment year for Dooley.

You might want to focus on your other bandwagon teams this fall.

IP said it but to say it differently...

Les Miles is a moron and will screw it up, again.

And his players will probably bail him out again, leading people to commend his 'gambling' instead of calling him out on his stupidity.

Mullen wasn't even the OC at Bowling Green or Utah...he won MNC with great talent at UF but Meyer wouldn't even promote him to OC when he came with him to Utah. Rival fans give TOO much credit to Mullen just because they dislike Meyer SO much. Meyer has won with 4 different OC's so that alone should tell you its about Meyer and the right personnel more than Dan Mullen.

I see a correlation between Mullen's exit and Florida's dwindling offensive capability. Either that or Percy Harvin was every bit as important as Tim Tebow to that offense.

To put the game in perspective, our offense really showed up our defense in last year's spring game with Brantley at like an 80% completion percentage.

So your either saying your defense is kicked up a notch or that your spread recruited offense which is now a pro style is not clicking together.

It's both.

Our defense will be solid, especially up front, but it's thin at LB and DE.

Our offensive line is a MAJOR concern. During the spring game our d-linemen intentionally held up the pass rush on several occasions just so our offense could complete a play.

And before the injury bug hit our tailbacks, the coaching staff was raving about Chris Rainey....he's not exactly the prototypical pro-style tailback you want running behind a green o-line.
