If this team ends 8-4, I'll say that would be a little disappointing.

I have them, and have had them since spring camp, penciled in at 9-3. We've lost a game we should have won already and we'll drop Bama in Tuscaloser and while somewhat up and down, UGA is coming together and will be playing for another NC.

All that said, while disappointed, I would be OK with 8-4 because I throw last year out of my evaluation. 2022 was a statistical anomaly that had a seasoned QB turn on the lights along with a stout OL and emerging WRs that should have happened in year 4 instead of year 2.

The first drive certainly wasn't passive. Then, we only had the ball 4 more minutes the entire 1st half? Hard to score when you don't have possession of the football. The "crackback' penalty didn't help either.

I’d take 8-4 right now. It’s not Joe. It just seems this team isn’t as hungry or mentally focused as last year team was. Way too many lapses & mental mistakes. Saturday is a huge game for this year.

9-3 or 8-4 my prediction 8-4 feels more like it.
I'd say a Citrus Bowl trip may happen

A&M looked good vs Arkansas single wing offense. Bama will throw the same at them but you never can tell. That’s why they play the games.

Alabama game will tell us a lot about A/M. Also, Neyland should be the most hostile environment they've played in so far this year. Use our good run game and sideline throws to neutralize their aggressive pass rush. It's going to be hard for the o-line to hold up for deep shots.

This Team is very up and down on offense this year . at 4-1 right now Vandy and Ucon are almost guaranteed wins thats 6 wins the rest will be tough
TAMU at home UGA at home . Then Bama at their house Mizzu at heir house and UK at their house . Bama is going to sell their soul to beat TN and so will UGA .
My football gut says 8-4 my Vol glasses on say 10-2 lol

With Vandy on the schedule beating SCAR more or less guaranteed us a bowl game. We haven’t played well at our last 3 true road games and we play what appear to be tough Mizzou and UK teams on the road. If we split those 2 and get to 7-5 or 8-4 I’ll consider it a win with this team.

Im going on record saying UT will not lose a home game this year. We beat TAMU and UGA. We will lose to Bama, UK and possibly Mizzou.

I think its very possible UT loses all its true road games this year.

9-3 or 8-4 at worst.

I feel like Tennessee is going to beat A&M. They are a different team at home versus the road. Key losses maybe the road games. Three of them are left: Alabama, Kentucky, and Missouri. We need to win 2 of those 3 to go 9-3. If we lose all three, we are 8-4.

We also have Georgia at home which will likely be a loss since Georgia is just leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of the SEC as a program at the moment (even if they have struggled, I am not that confident that they are really that far down).

I don't think this team can go 10-2. Had we beaten Florida, 10-2 would be possible.
