I’m still gonna say everyone will be pleasantly surprised when we go 10-2. This team will bounce back in a big way, just watch.

Doubt it. I think what we've seen is what we've got. Competition only gets more stiff as the season moves along. Joe is in his mid 20s and still hasn't improved. Oline is awful and defense is still bad. I got them losing to

Maybe they can squeek one out against Mizzou and Vandy but the verdict is still out on that. Going to be an ugly season. Hope Heupel can keep the class together.

Our energy Sat line play and SC game will tell us a lot about potential. Me I am believing in 9-3 w bowl to win 10 in somewhat of a bridge year thanks to cornbread

My confidence level took a beating last week. I was 10-2/9-3 before the first game. That didn’t change after the Virginia game. AP gave me big reasons for concern, and last week did me in. I’m not even going to guess at the W-L record now.

8-4= mediocre program. I guess thats what we should all accept moving forward. Its sad, really. This program has the potential and resources to be a freakin MONSTER.

Look, historically, we really are an 8 win program. While we have a great fan base and financial resources, we don't have the recruiting base that programs like UF, UGA, LSU and Texas have. We've got to make a living or at least a large part of it by recruiting outside our borders. Not always such an easy thing. Gimme 8-9 wins a season as our floor and the periodic 10+ win season and I'll be a happy camper. Having said that, the new playoff format will certainly help our chances of making those playoffs. Adding OU and Texas will not be helpful, however so it's kind of a wash.

I thought the 8-4 predictions were based on the mathematical chances of key injuries. My impression is that last season we beat the odds on injuries, team wide.

If Mays and Pili and Charles had been fully healthy for each game so far this season, I think we'd all be singing a different (happier) tune. But our depth is still being developed, as common sense would expect.

8-4 is going to be an ok year. It's where most of the rags had us before the season started. I'm in the minority, but I don't think Milton is bad. He is just slightly above average. The o-line is slightly below average and the secondary is well below average.
