If we go 8-4 this season...

It will be inline with my expectations, which were 9-3, but 8-4 could happen. If so, it will be considered a bad year for Heupel, and rightfully so.

Vs. the previous years all the way back to 2007, all 15 of them, when our best records were back to back 8-4 years under Butch Jones. That was the BEST we could do. Now 8-4 seems very disappointing.

That's a big difference, and I will take it. I didn't expect us to go 11-1 this year, and 9-3 is still very much possible.

Team has to play better, but...for whatever reason, we rarely play well in the Swamp.

On to the next game....

Coming off of an 11-2 season, with the personnel we have returning, the coaching staff, plus the schedule, I thought 9-3 would be a good season. If we go 8-4 I’ll be a little disappointed.

Last year I thought we’d lose 4-5 games. Wrong
This year I was thinking 3 maybe 4 losses. We will see. But 8-4 would be about what I expected.
Either way I enjoy the ride and I certainly won’t be pitching a fit because we lost a game. I will be making fun of those who do though.

I predicted 9-3 with losses to FL, GA, and AL. However the WAY we lost in Gainesville leads me to think this could very well be an 8-4 or worst case 7-5 season. I hope they get things figured out quickly. Suddenly the SC and A&M games look very shaky.

7-5 is the ceiling. And that's gonna take a lot of luck and balls rolling our way.

Doubt it. I think what we've seen is what we've got. Competition only gets more stiff as the season moves along. Joe is in his mid 20s and still hasn't improved. Oline is awful and defense is still bad. I got them losing to

Maybe they can squeek one out against Mizzou and Vandy but the verdict is still out on that. Going to be an ugly season. Hope Heupel can keep the class together.

We can play and beat every remaining team on our schedule, if we play up to our potential. We haven't come close to that thus far this year and why anywhere between 5-7 and 9-3 is possible in my opinion. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out and will support them whatever happens.
