If you’re Bama, you firing Oats?

Never mind losing tonight, Oats should’ve been fired because of the horrendous press conference he delivered after it became public B Miller had brought the gun to the scene of what ended up being the murder of a young mother. It was disgusting.
Absolutely correct. Now that Miller will be on the first thing smoking out of there, you won’t hear a single comment from anybody associated with Bama ever again. “Not our problem anymore.” The only curiosity will be if the Tuscaloosa DA grows a pair and subpoenas him to testify at trial. That might be fun to watch.

Me too. If nothing else just to irritate the haters. I expect him to retire in 2 to 3 years though.

For sure, gotta be realistic. I hope it’s 100% on his terms and not because negativity in the fan base. People are legitimately calling for him to be fired, I wonder if any coach has ever been fired for not winning enough after making a Sweet 16?

Bama has never been good at basketball until Nate Oats
No, I wouldn't say that. They had some good teams in the 70's under CM Newton, and in the 80's under Wimp Sanderson. Their '86-'87 team with Derrick McKey was in the top 10 most of the season, but just like tonight, they were upset in the Sweet 16 ... by Providence, who was coached by Rick Pitino and had Billy Donovan.

That would be Ole Miss’s luck. Im sure they wanted to snatch him up. However, Bama and Oats are in it together now. When you double down one hat they doubled down on the way they did, you’re stuck with each other. Kinda like how we all know Pam and Tommy Lee will end up together again one day.

To be fair, the Tournament should really be a best 2 out of 3 instead one and done. We would actually get true champion if it was that way. NBA does it like that. Shrink number of teams but do multiple games.

Bama lost their mental state when it became known Miller was involved. Oats is an outlaw for not suspending him. Glad they lost, just wished it had been in 1st round.

Or double elimination starting at a certain round.

To be fair, Kansas was best team this year but they won't play because of this stupid asanine post season model that really doesn't determine how good a team is. I mean, half the time it is just down to shooting and shooting is like rolling dice. We might as well have everyone sit around a table and roll dice.

Here is what they should do to solve all the problems everyone.

Alabama should fire Oats and Hire San Diego State's coach

Tennessee should fire Barnes and hire Florida Atlantic's coach.

The superior coach is the coach that won.

Then if Tennessee losses next year, we just hire the coach that beat our coach. Keep it going...

Or maybe NCAA March Madness is just a terrible format to decide a champion...

Reason we love the NCAA tournament is because single elimination. No thanks to best of 3.
