Depth chart for Saturday lists Worley as starter then, Dobbs or Ferguson?

Clearly CBJ was hoping to RS one of these guys, so who would you put in for (hopefully) mop up duty???

I'd like to see CBJ play all three and get this QB situation straightened out going forward. If its not Worley or Peterman, this would give them the opportunity to transfer and finish out their careers where they can play.

I'd burn both of them to keep one of them from transferring. That's just me though. Plus, you might be able to determine if one of them is a practice hero but gameday zero. People won't agree with that, but if Ferguson has a better week of practice, and you let him play, it would suck seeing Dobbs tear it up at some ACC school down the road.

I agree with this. The red shirt doesn't need to be used in the Freshman year anyway. I was quite surprised by Peterman's performance Saturday. I felt bad for him. I think through four games we have learned that Worley will not get us any upset wins and will actually make our task of winning enough to be bowl eligible more difficult. After Saturday, I just don't know what you do with Peterman. That leaves the two freshman. But they may not have done any better than Peterman if their first start is in the swamp. The QB situation is really THE problem with this team. I like what I am seeing everywhere else.:peace2:

I think Worley is good enough to get a win this week. I'd Like to see Ferg take over once its more than a 2 possesion ballgame... Even if it's 1st q..

Can you redshirt a player in any year, ie if they are frsh, soph, junior or even senior??

Looks like we are down to 3 viable QB's this year. I would think that Ferg and Dobbs have to be looking at the current situation and can see opportunity knocking.

Ferguson because by Dobbs staying in Knoxville it's obvious he already had the talk with him. Unless of course something changes in practice.

Burn them all at the QB position! Lets alternate them all and have some competition! Remember that Johny Football was great as a freshman (not that we have him...I know) and I believe he was a 3* recruit at one point. Besides, what do we really have to lose thats worth a the top 5 recruiting class CBJ is putting together?

The one that couldn't break the travel team. Obviously Dobbs is a good bit behind Ferguson if he couldnt travel to Florida with the team. Definitely sounds like Dobb's is the one they had planned on redshirting. Now if Worley goes down this week who knows what happens. Just wonder how far out in front Ferguson is over Dobbs.

JFF was a redshirt freshman last year.

Why not Page and Ashford. They are QB's
