If you are CBJ, whose redshirt do you burn??

Either would get as much experience in practice as the would against so ala. Our. 2nd D is just as good as their first, so what would they really gain? As far as mop up duty, put page in and let him hand the ball off repeatedly.

I was actually suprised you said this. I agree, unless one is clearly more ready.

what I would do is allow both freshmen QBs to play this year and release Peterman and Worley from their scholarships. Send the dead weight packing and focus entirely on the future. Figure out which of the two freshmen is better and focus on keeping that one as long as possible.

Isn't really a jump to get to that conclusion. Having to play a 3rd QB is hardly unprecedented. I believe it's safe to say at that point that CBJ was more comfortable with Ferguson as his 3rd QB. Doesn't mean that he will be a month from now.

On the other hand, the notion that CBJ would tell any player - Dobbs in this case - that it would be "his turn" to travel a month down the road is silly, especially given the pitiful situation UT has at QB.

you know what they say.... if you have four quarterbacks, you dont have one.

I watched a lot of film on youtube of both guys high school careers. I think Dobbs is gonna be the better QB but it is close. You have to decide which one you want to keep most because the guy who doesn't play is gonna be highly upset. I don't see both of them staying here one will transfer.

I'd burn both of them to keep one of them from transferring. That's just me though. Plus, you might be able to determine if one of them is a practice hero but gameday zero. People won't agree with that, but if Ferguson has a better week of practice, and you let him play, it would suck seeing Dobbs tear it up at some ACC school down the road.

Only another injury should you EVER burn them both.

PLEASE tell me this is sarcasm.

not sarcasm. Why would it be? Worley and Peterman are not worthy of UT uniforms. If we continue to suck on the field, it should at least be because we have a true freshman QB, who is getting real game experience for the future.
