Yep Im happy....that's where we're at....6-6 and goin to the Poulan Weedeater Bowl.......I guess we now wait til next year..
After the last 6 years did you expect us in Atlanta next year? My God we are going bowling and Butch is bringing in another top 10 class. Even a Cynic should let himself be happy every now and then.

We played with half our starting lineup out! We were lucky to win the game. If all our starters had been healthy, we would have won handily.

Just log off and go do something that makes you happy. The problem with that is it seems that there are many here who can't be happy unless they are griping and moaning about something all of the time.

Are there concerns?
Of course there are but there is plenty of time to discuss those in the coming weeks. Right now why can't we just be happy for the fact we are bowl eligible for the first time in a long time?

Love ya Doyle

When you think about all this team has dealt with over the past few weeks from injuries, to AJ, to Eric Berry, it actually shows a lot of character that they closed this season out with a necessary win to go bowling.

We should be happy with all the injuries. We lost Malone and North at different points in the season, we lost Lane, Paulk and essentially played with 1 RB most of the season. We lost Saulsberry most of the season, so played with 3 DT all season. We lost different OL at different parts of the season and had to do patchwork OL with Freshmen and Soph and a guard playing all positions. We lost our starting QB too.

We also lost our best player on the team and team leader in AJ, we lost our starting CB opposite Sutton. We also lost AJ;s backup in Dillon Bates earlier in the year. So we had to play our 3rd string Freshmen LB in place of our all-American MLB.

Through that we still made a bowl and I see people think we should have won by more and beaten Mizzou....Today we lost our starting RB and were down to a gimpy Lane. They can simply play pass and key on Dobbs all day.

Next year our depth at RB, DT, QB and OL will be quite a bit better. Next year we have Hurdy and Kamara and Reid as a changeup with Scott. We will have North back, Malone another year in the system, Pig all year, etc...

Just let them complain that's just simply what they do. Win or lose I won't cry or complain or lose any sleep. At the end of the day it's just a game that we all love to watch or play

I'm just glad we are going to a bowl game. A blow out would have been nice but unnecessary, the main objective was to reach a bowl and get those practices.

Exactly
Vandy played their best game of the season and we played probably our worst but still we found a way to win.

All this talk of extra practices isn't gonna change the fact that our o-line would get dominated by an average OVC defensive line. Like a blind man up to bat, we swing and miss most of the time.

it wasnt a great win but its a win none the less. its much better than a loss.. KY ,GA, SC , FL would have all liked a close win.

The practices aren't just for th O-line and in any case, extra practices can't make them any worse.

A pair and a spare. It is remarkable how well they held up all season!

I agree. We're flawed. We knew we were flawed. Have a drink.

I know that we are flawed and i had a drink, then a second, then another. Still thing that the team can and should do better. Bowl opponents will be more competent than Vandy. I want to win a bowl game just not show up so the coaches get a bump. It's time to get serious and become relevant again.
