Well, Vandy had 12 games / a full season to improve their OL for this game, so it's really not fair to make this comparison.

Just log off and go do something that makes you happy. The problem with that is it seems that there are many here who can't be happy unless they are griping and moaning about something all of the time.

Are there concerns?
Of course there are but there is plenty of time to discuss those in the coming weeks. Right now why can't we just be happy for the fact we are bowl eligible for the first time in a long time?

How many people were complaining after the KY game? We beat a team by 7, who only beat Charleston Southern by 1... You wouldn't be disappointed in beating Charleston Southern by 8?

I'm not sure the players we have now have the ability to get good enough. That's what I'm afraid of. Even if they improve, it will likely not be enough.

While your concerns are understandable I think it's still too early to pass judgment on them as a group being as young as they are at this point in their careers. Watching them has been excruciating at times this year. But we need to give them time to mature and reach their full potential. Practice, experience, and maturity can pay huge dividends in the long run.

Other than the extra practices, that's what I'm most happy about. One more game to get fired up about.

Bowl game... We get to see the team one more time and the recruits get to see our love for this team again................ Winning :)

Crowder helps but even with this line at full strength, they just ain't gonna get the job done. We better hope like hell that Charles Mosley, Blair, and a stud freshman can come in next year and make this oline at least an average one or else were in for another year of the same and I don't know if Butch can survive another year like this.

They should make huge strides in the off-season. Not that they will be all-SEC but significantly improving our worst area should yield great dividends in team performance.

Also, we are only losing 6 seniors in the 2-deep, 0-2 players declaring early, possibly Williams in secondary. Everyone else except for a few transfers will be back and better.

Most of the other teams will lose twice as many players in the 2-deep rotation.

Hopefully will will not be having to play guards at tackle or playing someone with a torn ACL next year. With people in their proper position I think we will be alright. Add in the extra practice and strength and conditioning and it will be better.

And we lost to UGA and UF by how much? A win is a win and a loss is a loss. We now have time to get some guys healthy and hopefully win a bowl game.

We played well vs a good Georgia team with a great running attack but a below avg sec qb and a suspect defense. But I'll give you that one because Georgia overall is a good team.

But are you really gonna say the UF game was a good loss? A really bad Florida team with no offense and a head coach just waiting to be fired..... that was an awful loss, whether it was by 1 or 100 pts imo.

Bottom line, we're at best the 11th best team in the conference.

Anybody that's been a vol fan for more than a few years knows that the Vandy team that plays the Vols is not always the same Vandy team that played the rest of the season. They sometimes play well above their ability when they hit the field. A win is a win and I'm thankful we have a coach and a team on an upward trajectory.
