I'm retired and can live anywhere....at this phase of my life my family and close friends are scattered all about....so I live on Norris Lake...on the water...secluded....in the woods....can't see or be seen....closest restaurant/grocery store is a boat dock that may or may not be open when you arrive...closest neighbor is almost a half mile away...

sounds like paradise for some folks where you are.

I have lived in Knox for over 10 years But currenty live in Johnson City. I prefer JC for the #OutdoorLife , proximity for hiking & skiing. Knox will have a more lively nightlife but there are some options in JC. Knox was great for games & parties leading up to games. JC only 100 miles away, games are doable but require more planning.
