IMO Make it to Bama in the west. We just need to win the east and stay healthy for UGA and our east opponents. Not saying I want to lose or think we will. With LSU and UF behind us this one is free money. Especially with Bama favored.

I hope like hell we win this week, but the perfect 1-loss scenario would unfortunately be this week.

1. We're the SEC East champs and in Atlanta.
2. We wouldn't have to daunting task of having to beat Alabama twice in one season, assuming they come out of the West.

Makes sense except that we would need a lot of help to get to the playoff if we lose to UGa, even with only one loss, especially if Bama wins out and then wins in Atlanta. We aren't going to get the benefit of the doubt with voters like Bama, UGa, OSU, and Clemson always do.

If you lose to Bama, your in the championship and you beat them once.

Title is “a game to lose”……..so I’d pick the first Bama game.

Tennessee would most definitely be in the playoff. Beat Georgia, only loss to Bama then avenge that loss in the championship game.

This game is THE obvious choice. ONE LOSS could be any team from the west actually, but the higher ranked opponent is preferred from a power ranking standpoint. A loss here does NOTHING in the big picture, that is if we win out. And I’m good with that.
