It was a destination for several the last few years, no reason it cant still be. Simply no reason not to fill needs along with pulling a few studs also. Just my opinion.

I'm not saying he can't. All I am saying, is that it ludicrous to proclaim the guys they have committed at this time aren't worth our time. These guys have been evaluating talent for longer than some of us have been breathing. Trust in them, because you can't control anything they do.

And this is exactly what will happen.

Our DTs will have the rating of something like the combo of Wright, Hodge, Carson, and Couch.

Our OL will have the rating of something like the combo of Richardson, DeBell, Kerbyson, Posey, and Crowder.

Not questioning the players already committed at all. Just saying that he has to pull studs too. Filling needs means different things to different people I guess.

A very important key to our recruiting will be Lance Thompson... If we are bad this year he may jump ship. Hes never been at a place for more then 2 years. I look for UGA, FSU, or AUBURN to make a play for him in January. If he leaves that could really hurt our class with atleast 10 plaers probably coming from Georgia

how many SEC championships could Beamer win? Dont make this about star ratings. You take all the 3 stars and ill take all the 5's and blah,blah.....Im sure if you had your choice I know which way you would go. I know there are some misses in the rating system, but I will take my chances with the 5's. We need some studs, thats all Im saying. They dont have to be 5's but it wont hurt my feelings if they are.

SO!! We freaking had the "all-star" staff, as most like to put it, and they got taken out behind the shed with a guy who started his career at VT with a losing record in like 4 or 5 seasons.

If we had Beamer as a coach, I think we would be challenging for a SEC title every year, IMO. Beamer is a stand up guy, and player LOVE being around him and playing for him. Best special teams in the country too.

Don't lump me in with all the Kiffin lovers, it was obvious that he and his staff got out-coached in that game.

Kiffin and company coached a perfect game against BAMA up until the last 30 seconds when getting conservative. I dont think anybody else held bama without a TD.

I wasn't impressed with Gran's ST skills but I thought the rest of our team was coached well

Games coached - UF, Bama, South Carolina.

They half-assed it the rest of the time, IMO.

Thats what im afraid of. Lowering the bar is not the right approach. Being let down is no reason to lower the bar. I want to keep the bar high, hell I want to raise the bar, i wont accept any less. I do think that DD can get it done, but I refuse to lower the bar for him.

You have exhorted us continuously to stop assuming our new coach is what his re ord says he is, yet jump to the downside on the recruiting. That's what the hell I'm talking about.
