His Profile looks like this...I like how you took time out of your day to create an account just to troll. Must be a fun and exciting life you live.
i’m saying this due to the fact they have so many wr’s every year. not every receiver excels there, you see how good jameson williams was and didn’t even start? also, they signed the #1 wr julian fleming who has caught 1 career touchdown in two years.Nah. OSU does well with WRs. He’ll excel there. It’s understandable why he chose them.
That really was one of the more pathetic posts I've seen in my 9 years on VolNation. I sincerely hope that was just a 12 year old. If that's an adult? Damn ...His Profile looks like this...

Gender...Hadn't decided yet

anything can happen, it’s not guaranteed he will start early there is all i’m trying to say. they are signing 3 other receivers who are very well just as good as him in this class too, along with more wr’s they have already. he may very well excel, don’t get me wrong.Fleming has been injured most of his career and Marvin Harrison Jr ( as plished as his hall of fame dad) is just as good..... Williams didn't start because JSN is better as he has proven. And Williams wasn't going to start over Olave and Williams who were 1st round picks, as was Williams who was developed by Hartline.
The tea leaves have been saying this for a while. This should surprise nobody. I'm not going to disparage the guy, but he clearly was exaggerating how "open" his recruitment really was... for the purpose of maximizing an NIL deal at Ohio State. When he said dante was the best qb, i was like why would u say that if nico was gonna be your qb?
I mean, you have to know, 95% sure anyway, that u wouldn't punk out ur future qb like that
So movin on
Nico hasn’t signed yetMy concern is how TN will climb to the top and consistently recruit 4* and 5a* players. The stats show stars matter.
I think TN is on the right path, similar to the early 90’s. Here are my thoughts:
1.This team must have success and win 9 games, beating Florida, Pitt, Etc. this season to recruit elite players.
2.Recruit elite QB - Nico is our guy to build around. Similar to Manning (and @ the time, Brandon Stewart as we didn’t know who would be the star qb).
3. Next season- 9 wins same as above.
Surround Nico with elite RB (s) and skilled players. Hopefully we have some freshmen on the roster who will be balling Nico’s soph and junior yr, assuming Nico starts. Plus add stud RB(s) and WR’s to the 23 and 24 class.
4.Trenches - need elite O Linemen, hopefully we have some freshmen who will be “elite” in 2024-2025. Freshman O linemen need a yr or two to develop. Keep recruiting.
5. Defense- same as point #4. Manning didn’t have an elite defense in 1997. The D had individual talent but the juniors and seniors made a huge difference in 1998. One or two yrs in the program does wonders in the trenches, Linebackers, etc.
Just my $.02. Some Success now along with Nico should get us back, finally, to SEC East relevance in 2024 (hopefully).
Haha I get the man can game plan but you have to have the talent to win the big games.Disagree. The kid's a talent, I'm not taking that away from him, but a lot of our offense is predicated on Heupel scheming guys open. We've already seen him take lesser rated receivers with good speed and work his magic. Heupel will find receivers to make his offense work. They don't have to be 5*s. They just need to do what he says and catch the ball when it hits their hands.
