I'll take our 2014 receivers over the 2012 receivers

CP as a WR was not nearly as productive as the "vol status" he receives. Amazing player, solid WR.

One good thing about this thread is we can actually test the OP's opinion with production this coming season.

2012 stats:

Hunter: 73 rec. 9 TDs. 1083 Yds.
CP: 46 Rec. 5 TDs. 778 Yds.
Rogers: 32 Rec. 7 TDs. 491 Yds.

I would like to think that he will be. Last year, he ran more as the season progressed, to pick up a first down or two. Surely the more successful runs that a guy has, the more confidence he would have to attempt it, now and then.

In the scrimmage yesterday Worley was the only qb with zero rushing stats.

Hunter was a great receiver, but never lived up to expectations after injury IMO. I think many of our fans remember the Hunter they hoped for, not the Hunter they got.

Hunter had terrible drops his last season, but he was still a 1,000 yard receiver. Would have loved that type of production last year.

Without D Rogers, yes. With D Rogers... not quite yet.

Just a feeling here... but I think missing this spring is going to hurt Pig alot. He may never be able to work his way past some of these other guys.

D. Rogers was a beast and will never get credit from the holier than thou crowd.
