IMHO about the cfb playoffs

I think it’s Bama and the Vols in the NY6. I don’t see Georgia out even with loss next week. I’d love to see Tennessee in the Sugar Bowl, and Bama play Clemson and smack em again

I don't think the defense tonight allows SCarolina to score near as many as last week. Maybe 24.

Michigan, TCU, and USC will all have to lose their championship games. Then you would have a bunch of 1 and 2 loss teams without championships and you would have to choose the ones with the best wins. You would have Georgia, Michigan, Ohio St, and Tennessee. That would be ultimate chaos and I would not envy anybody on that committee 😂

I would not be surprised to see

5- Bama
6- Tennessee
7- Ohio State

That blowout at home for the Buckeyes was just about as bad as us losing on the road in Carolina.

I don’t think it’s a foregone conclusion Ohio State stays inside Top 5 after that game.
Us losing to Carolina by over 30 points, while giving up over 60, is not in the same zip code as Ohio states loss. That's crazy talk. Ohio state will be above us and should be.

When you give up 60 to an awful team that goes out the window. Also they will take Hooker being out into account. If by some miracle it comes down to us or Bama it will be Bama.
Are they that awful? They will be ranked after this weekend

We have the better wins and sos than Bama. Those cancel out the SC loss and it goes to the head to head. We pass them in the rankings. (That’s my orange tinted glasses moment).

Way to get the shutout boys! GBO!

Michigan won’t beat Georgia they are too slow, the best team left to challenge them is USC because they have a passing attack. Michigan will try to run right at Georgia and grind them down like last year and we saw how that worked out for them. Kirby has too many 5 Star rhinos on that defense to trump whatever Harbaugh will throw at them. As much as it disgusts me Georgia will repeat. Kirby and Stetson will be kissing that championship trophy again.

Did you see the Michigan/Ohio State game today?

USC can't match the physicality of UGA, Michigan might have the best chance to knock off UGA

Yea sounds great in your head. But they are ranked ahead of us now. We both won today. How the hell we passing them? And the people who make this decision are the ones who put them ahead of us. It matters to them.

It wasn't in my head that we beat them. The playoff committee is not infallible. Remember they WRONGLY ranked Alabama ahead of TCU in week 1 of their rankings which was based off nothing from this season but only on Alabama's historical blue blood status. Look, as long as they don't luck into the playoff ahead of us I'm OK. We beat them and own the head to head. That will always remain a historical fact.

We lost by 25 on the road. Ohio State lost by 22 in a decisive manner AT HOME…..

Their loss today was just as bad if not worse than ours to Carolina. Hell that loss was worse than ours vs Georgia.

Lol stop comparing our loss to uscjr to the osu loss. It’s not even close. #2 losing to #3 is not the same as us losing to an unranked team. Just stop

Getting routed at home is worse than getting routed on the road…. Even more so when the team is actually a bit formidable….

Seems like you’re incapable of looking through uncolored glasses, but that loss by Ohio State was seismic for them

I think if Hendon had not gotten hurt with things playing out like they have we would be 6 but they will factor that into their decision so we'll be 7 which is pretty good really.

You seem very hung up on the road vs home loss aspect. Thats a part of it but the much larger part is rankings.. they matter a tad more boss.

It wasn’t over 30 points Breh. It was 25. At their most hyped their program will ever be. OSU skated by **** competition all year

Let me help you. We have 2 losses. It's more then one. This isn't hard

Imagine if we were in OSU's shoes, we lost our last regular season game to an undefeated #3 team at home by 3 TDs to go 11-1, and OSU had 2 losses and the week before lost by 25 at unranked Purdue.

There is no way in hell anyone would take the notion that OSU would get in over us seriously.

Let me help you, the CFP has said they care more about quality of wins than losses. They have shown that for weeks with LSU ahead of USC and Bama ahead of Clemson…..

Ohio State has wins over Penn State and Notre Dame both ranked in the teens all while having their worst home loss in 3-4 decades.

Tennessee has wins over Bama and LSU both likely ranked in Top 12 on Tuesday. Those wins trounce Ohio State’s wins.

Bama’s wins are just ugly.

You’ve been living under a rock for the past month if you think the committee is going by W/L record solely for ranking teams vs others….

That’s the only explanation for you thinking that the committee is gonna rank on record alone.

The only thing I’m hung up on is how the committee has been ranking teams week to week and it’s been about quality of wins…. Ohio State now has two decent wins and a horrible blowout loss at home. This notion they are foregone conclusion wind up at #5 just because of a 1 in the loss column is silly. Y’all must have been living under a rock the last month with Bama and LSU rankings as 2 loss teams. This ain’t rocket science folks

Mich should be 1
No. Their wins over Penn St and Ohio State aren’t better than UGA beating us and Oregon. Both have had some close games but really only 1 truly close one for UGA. Michigan has had a couple and their overall SOS is worse than UGA. It’s not a wide margin but UGA should still be 1.
