Indianapolis Colts= 2007 World Champions

I wasn't saying manning played awful. He played like he always does. Its just that he always has to make up for his defense. Today, it wasnt the case. When he thre the INT's, the defense came up with the stops they needed.

Well put.

Big win for the Colts, especially since Peyton didn't have to win it for them. I guess they've got the Ravens coming up next.

Hopefully the defense and Joseph Addai can sustain this level of play throughout the postseason. I'm not worried about Peyton at all... he'll be fine. The championship goes through San Diego this year.

I'm not trying to make excuses for him, but his numbers are excellent if you take away the 2 INTs that seemed to be confusion between he and Harrison. I'm not sure who's fault those picks were, but anyway, 30/38 is a pretty good night. I think that they'll fix whatever is wrong with that mixup by next week.
unfortunately you can't. i don't know if ti was the wrong route or bad throws for sure either....but i do know tha the Int's weren't tippped balls...they were right to the defender.

impressed that the colts could pull out a team victory. it couldn't happen at a better time for them.

but they can't afford 3 turnovers frome here on out. the ravens will be ball hawks next week. Beat Baltimore.........please.

On another subject, I don't think I'd want Tony Dungy calling my plays while I'm on a date. He doesn't exactly strike me as Rico Suave.

That commercial cracks me up. Imagine if it was Bill Belichick.

...if they do lose, you can just claim that you meant they'd win the Super Bowl after the 2007 regular season. :)

Afterall, whoever wins it this year will be known as the 2006 Champions, I believe.

They call the Steelers the 2006 Super Bowl Champions... but I see what you're saying. I guess I could use that excuse, haha.

FG by Mr. Automatic, 6-0 Colts. They still can not turn the drives into Touchdowns. Carrying it over from the last game. Can't win a game by kicking only FG's.

Neither Manning or McNair are looking like the QBs that they are supposed to be. I'm not sure who's going to win at this point. Without the Ravens screwups at the beginning, this game would probably be tied 6-6. I never would have guess the Colts would be ahead in a playoff game in the fourth quarter without having scored a TD.

Cotdang that Colts defense has come to play in the postseason.

Good ol defensive playoff football. I love it.

Peyton didn't play his best game, but he came through huge on that final drive with the 3rd down conversion to Dallas Clark. That was a helluva pass-and-catch... Peyton put the ball the only place it could have been caught.

Is Dan Dierdorf blind or what? How did he think Ray Lewis tipped that ball that that McAllister let bounce off his chest??? Wasn't Lewis crawling around on the ground which would explain McAllister almost tripping over him after dropping the ball?

Dierdorf blathered on about that the rest of the game.

:lolabove: Yeah, that's good stuff.

Hard to believe, I know. Works for me, though!

One of the announcers also said something about the Ravens trying to strip the ball from the Colts at about the 2:00 minute mark. He said "for the next minute and 60 seconds" the Colts are really going to have to secure the ball. I thought that was rather dumb.
