Indianapolis Colts= 2007 World Champions

all due respect to MH...but he and steve smith are two different types of receivers. i have no doubt in MH big play ability, don't get me wrong........

but smith is a guy that goes and gets it....fairly physical for his size....and great leaper.

their physical attributes are what makes them different....i don't see MH having a similar type performance, PHYSICALLY. stats wise, he could , no doubt.

but most teams have proven in the playoffs they can take him away. he was a non factor last week, from a catches/yds/td standpoint. his biggest benefit to the offense thus far has simply been being on the feild so they have to devote two guys to his side of the feild.

I was talking more in terms of speed, though. Marvin might have lost a step since his prime, but, like Steve Smith, he's still faster than those Bears DBs.

either way, i have no doubt tha Harrison is perfectly capable of lighting up a secondary, just not the same way, physically, that smith is. i've seen smith take some shots across the middle and down the feild, when he's in mid air that i don't know that harrison could. smith can run by you and thru you, which is impressive given his size.

There's always Dallas Clark. He's been great the last two games.
and that has a lot to do with the fact that defenses have to account for Harrison. a safety and a DB on his side of the field, is going to leave someone open somewhere.

it'll be interesting, now that the colts have established guys like Clark and the other TE (forget his name, but he had the big catch on the last drive?) as big paly potential, to see how Chicago decides to defend down the feild.......

Do you go back to man to man or stick with the cover two and roll safeties side to side or up to line?

that will be an interesting match up to watch in this game. ricky manning jr. could be the guy to keep an eye on....

I doubt it. Those Bears DBs are quick. And Steve Smith would smoke Marvin in a race. Don't get me wrong, I like Harrison, but they are very different receivers. Marvin won't catch a 5 yard pass and turn it into a sixty yard TD like Steve Smith will. The Colts would still make the playoffs without Harrison. The Panthers wouldn't win four games without Smith.

The other TE was Ben Fletcher. Ben Utecht is also pretty good. If the WRs play as crappy against the Bears as they did against the Pats, the TEs will need to have a big day.

thanks.couldnt' remember his name to save my life.

and i think the pats defense had a lot to do with the WR's not getting a lot of catches.

i don;'t remember seeing a game where more passes were deflected as clean as they were in that game....the db's for the pats played a whale of a game, against the duo of MH and RW that is....

yeah, i have no reason other than peyton being the qb to root for the colts. if he wasn't playing, i could probably care less about this game. and having rex as the qb is enough for me to at least root against them.

go colts.

i just want a good game. if peyton wins, i'll eat my crow. I have a lot of friends that are diehard bears fans, have been for years, so at least they'll be happy. One of them is a Bears and Cubs fan. I figure he's suffered enough.
