Indianapolis Colts= 2007 World Champions

Yea that is surprising, they must have been very high on Ugoh. Bush sounds good on paper but I'm not sure he would be good in their style of running.

I really like the Colts 3rd-round (94th overall) pick:

Daymeion Hughes, CB, California

Pretty good player to grab in the 3rd round.

Colts first-day selections:

Round 1 (32)- Anthony Gonzalez, WR, Ohio State (6', 195 lbs)
-- 2006 stats: 51 catches, 734 yards, 8 TD
-- 1st Team All-Big Ten

Round 2 (42)- Tony Ugoh, OT, Arkansas (6'5", 305 lbs)
-- 2006 stats: 67 knockdowns
-- 1st Team All-SEC

Round 3 (95)- Daymeion Hughes, CB, California (5'10", 192 lbs)
-- 2006 stats: 72 tackles, 8 INT, 2 TD
-- 2006 Pat Tillman Award Winner
-- 2006 Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year
-- 2006 1st Team All-American

Round 3 (98)- Quinn Pitcock, DT, Ohio State (6'3", 301 lbs)
-- 2006 stats: 39 tackles, 8 sacks, 12 TFL
-- 2006 1st Team All-Big Ten
-- 2006 1st Team All-American

Colts second-day selections:

Round 4 (Pick 131)- Brannon Condren, S, Troy (6'1", 208 lbs)
-- 2006 stats: 98 tackes (86 solo), sack, 7 TFL, 2 INT
-- 2006 1st Team All-Sun Belt selection

Round 4 (pick 136)- Clint Session, OLB, Pittsburgh (6', 233 lbs)
-- 2006 stats: 101 tackles, 12 TFL, sack, INT, TD
-- 4.57 40-yard dash

Round 5 (pick 169)- Roy Hall, WR, Ohio State (6'2", 229 lbs)
-- 2006 stats: 13 catches, 147 yards, 2 TD
-- 4.38 40-yard dash

Round 5 (pick 173)- Michael Coe, CB, Alabama St. (6'1", 190 lbs)
-- 2006 stats: 42 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 4 TFL, 2 INT, 14 PD
-- 2006 1st Team All-Southwestern Athletic Conference
-- Two year starter at CB for Arkansas before transferring to Alabama State to play for his father.

Round 7 (pick 242)- Keyunta Dawson, DE, Texas Tech (6'3", 254 lbs)
-- 2006 stats: 60 tackles, 7.5 TFL, 6 sacks, 2 FF

I like all the picks, except maybe Roy Hall. He seems like a physical specimen, but not much production at Ohio State. I know he played behind Ted Ginn Jr. and Anthony Gonzalez, but he still hasn't proven himself.

Wonder what they'll do with the last pick? RB? Another LB? We will see.

Round 7 (pick 242)- Keyunta Dawson, DE, Texas Tech (6'3", 254 lbs)

Not sure about this pick. I guess they've got a different plan for a No. 2 tailback.

Pretty solid.
considering the titans didn't exactly light it up, the texans didn't do anything to help the offense, again and the jags did so so, not surprising.

the bigger problem for the colts is the patriots have had a stupendous off season, and the ravens had a good draft.

The Colts arrive in Terre Haute tommorow and start camp on Monday. Me,the gf and some friends plan on being there when they start showing up tommorow to meet them and get some autographs. I'll be doing security several days at camp so I'll try to report as much as I can.
