Neither the Pats nor the Colts have played poorly this year. If that game goes defensive, I think the Colts are better. But, with Dante and (shudder) Moss to throw to how can it get defensive? Somebody needs to hurt somebody is what I'm saying. Then they win.
Things just didn't go the Colts way during the last 8 or 9 minutes of the 4th quarter. Like Dungy said, they just had no answer for Randy Moss. All Brady had to do is throw it up, and Moss was coming down with it. As long as the Colts get Harrison, Ugoh, and Gonzalez healthy, I can't wait for a possible rematch in the playoffs.
I can't believe how people just sweep this under the rug. MH has only played in 5 games this year. Gonzalez left the game early so they were stuck with Wayne and Moorehead.
On a side note everyone ripped me for saying it was a good move for the Colts to pick a wr with their first pick. I said they needed one because they have no depth and MH was getting old and would become injury prone. Interesting what has happened. :whistling:
This was supposed to be the biggest regular season game of all time. Nobody wants to diminish that by saying one opponent wasn't at full strength. It doesn't matter, really. The rematch in the playoffs will be the biggest game in years and years.
