I'll be honest - I've seen people paint themselves for games but not like that. The fact that it's 7 years ago makes it irrelevant to this situation but the paint job sure looks bad.

What I find most troubling is that even if Phillips' version of events were 100% true, and all further video reinforced his claims, then all we've got is a bunch of high school boys acting like a**holes, as pretty much every high school boy is, along with all who came before and all who will come after. That shouldn't be national news. They didn't hurt anyone. They didn't even lay a finger on anyone, as best I can tell. And yet there are adults doxxing them and calling for violence against them.

If you call for violence against a teenaged boy for being an a**hole, then you are way beyond being an a**hole yourself. You are evil.

I agree with all of the above. I’ve seen black out, neon, and other student section themes. I’ve seen body paint too. But never full on black face. Hopefully administrators made sure that didn’t happen again.

Honestly since they did their whole upper bodies I really don’t see it that way. The closest kid with the smile and eye outline is questionable. The whole body paint really doesn’t stand out to me.
