You seriously telling me you haven't seen CNN and MSN Saturday night or Sunday morning putting these kids on trial with the fake narrative?
We intend to have a wall built. It absolutely can be. Intent is as important as the words used.
What were the original media outlets that ran with this? I bet their sourcing was twitter, instagram, or youtube.
CBS too.Haven't looked at MSN, but I will give CNN some credit. They have definitely made it a point to emphasize the whole story as it has unfolded, and not as a back page footnote, it's still near top of their home page.
This is more in the category of a "false narrative" than anything else... A picture of a smug looking kid standing in the face of a Native American lent itself to speculation that the kid was being a p***k. He looked the part. Is that fair? No, but both party's are guilty of running with a false narrative that suits their agenda. Remember the suspicious packages that were being sent to Democrats last fall? Conservatives on Fox News (Lou Dobbs, Geraldo Rivera) and elsewhere (Rush Limbaugh) speculated that they must have been "false flags", sent by liberals to generate sympathy for themselves and to make conservatives look bad just before the mid-term elections. This theory proved to be false and ridiculous. We are in a politically polarized era, where at times, people aren't waiting to get all the information needed before passing their own judgment and condemning people they are already opposed to anyway.
To be fair, at the time, it was “correct”. More information and videos came out and they (at least CNN) reported it onWho cares what the source was? It shows a lack of integrity on all of the msm to not research and make sure the story was correct before crucifying a bunch of minors. This should be a sticking point for everyone on both sides of the aisle.
Also, the goal post were here, now they are way over somewhere else because the first story fell through. Kids are being deemed races for painting their whole bodies black. You guessed it, at a black out basketball game.
I hope the minors and their parents file lawsuits against the large media outlets that ran with the story before getting the facts. They put undo stress on the minors and their families

If you have evidence of these things, video them and expose it. Otherwise, stop projecting your admitted bias on to students who have nothing to do with that.Cool story, bruh.
Meanwhile, the dickless wonders getting in the faces of my grad program's international students on campus and yelling "build that Wall" and "go back to Mexico" can sod off and choke on the diesel fumes from their coal rollers.
I know its hard for some of the rain men here to understand, so i'll just spell it out for the ones who don't get it.
My oldest once had a boy come over.....it was the first time he'd been to the house....he was already there when I got home......I walked in the living room and saw him.....turned and asked my daughter......"who's your girlfriend?"......lol.....her mouth fell open.....she turned to the guy and said "don't pay any attention to him"That approach definitely has its merits.
