That's low man, I don't care who you are, you have no room to be talking about somebody's dad like that. He may have made some bad decisions in his life, but that doesn't take away from the love and bond they shared as father and son. This kid deserved this, and he put his heart and soul into this season. I'm happy for him, he represents the SEC well. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

I honestly think this had more to do with Alabama not having a Heisman winner. Ingram is a great back and great kid, but Gerhart lead the nation in practically every RB category.

I thought McCoy deserved it. He's been a solid 4-year performer and exits college football as its winningest QB of all time.

Garbage.... TG should have won it. He owned Mark "Crybaby" Ingram in every stat category there is. He was voted the best) and yet Mark "Crybaby" Ingram wins the heisman? Further proves that this trophy is worthless.


Basically Alabama won that trophy for Mark "Crybaby" Ingram. When one of the arguments for why Mark "Crybaby" Ingram should win it is because AL hasn't had a Heisman trophy winner yet, then you know this thing is bogus. What a joke. TG owned the pac 10 and basically the voters are saying the pac 10 is a joke. Way to screw the heisman up AGAIN fellas....

Gerhart also racked up stats against Pac 10 defenses and ND's defense. Ingram would have put up all-time single season records against competition like that.

BAMA is about to show everybody why McCoy had no business winning the Hypesman. For once, I agree with the outcome of the award.

I didn't see the presentation, but I have a hard time believing Ingram actually cried, because there aren't a half dozen threads about it here.

So you are ready to give Gerhart the Heisman for owning the Pac 10!? Why not give it to the kid from Houston then?

Being a "Crybaby" is what Tebow did after the loss to BAMA. It is completely acceptable to cry tears of joy after winning an award that will immortalize you.
