Boy you should really pay attention to the rest of the board. We didn't take Nance just because he might come with Da'Rick. We took him because Chaney (who BTW mentored the 2* Drew Brees at Purdue) is very high on him. It doesn't hurt that we might get Rogers, but please read before you post.

you guys should read the thread. he weighs 215 and benches close to 325 but does not try hard. freakishly athletic and spends more time talking and just hanging out than you would hope when they are in the weight room. also this is first hand info, so when i say it was not meant to be a package deal, its true. they wont refuse his loi likely because they dont want to burn the recruiting bridge but there is a reason they did not offer and accpet nance's committ until they thought they were in good shape with rogers.

also anything can happen and he could stay with uga, but you can bet that if his mom gives him the ok he will sign a loi to ut in a heartbeat, and probably will do so anyway.

My son, with alot of hard work was benching 230 and only weighed in at 135 soaking wet. Boy's upper body was hard as a brick wall, weak in the legs, never worked them other than running.
It can be done but the hard work is the key.

Yeah, that must suck to be compared to the likes of Andre and Calvin Johnson. :)

The athleticism we're bringing in with this class is the best in a long time IMO. Rogers (hopefully) and Hunter are obvious freaks. I also think James, Pair, Meline and Dixon are all very underrated from a pure athleticism standpoint.

I'd put our class up against any when it comes to overall athletes.

the guy is built solid as a rock and could put in much more effort than he does. just bare in mind he is a high school student and his work ethic can change under a college weight training program.

CORRECTION: IT IS 325 NOT 350.

Its about upper body strength. shoulders, chest, arms.

Bench press muscles reflects on how well you can hand shiver someone off of you like a CB in bump and run, or a stiff arm on a would be saftey trying to get at your waist and legs. It is a very important trait!

Guy says 90% UT 10 % uga and only 10 because his momma wants him to stay true to his committment. He said though that he believes he will sign with UT as well as Nash on Wednesday. Darick will announce and sign in the morning opposed to signing and having a later annoucement like some have suggested. Also said there was no way this was ever not meant to be a package deal. P.S. If I ever have info on North Ga recruits I'll tell. I have legit sources as of recent.

One last tidbit about Darick. Guy says he is a freakish athlete. 4.29 40yd dash. 6'-3" 215 lbs. 43 inch vert. 325 bench. Says its all natural and that Darick does not try hard. Darick laid an egg against the three good cbs he faced this year. Also isnt worth crap in domes. I think a college weight training system could work out his laziness.

Sorry about that. The rant is justifiable. To be fair though I was a little preoccupied with trying to get my point across than how my spelling was. I will fix it.
