I get very tired of seeing posts like your post. Everyone should have the right to post without some jerk like you checking their spelling and grammar and offending them. Some of the smartest people I know do not have the education to write perfectly.

Agree...don't mean to derail a thread here but just to reiterate to certain misinformed people:

Proper spelling is NOT strongly correlated with high intelligence.

Think of spelling as akin to handwriting...your doctor does not care how legible he is, he cares about, you know, doing his job.

the last couple of days rogers hasnt shown much love for the dawgs, it would almost shock me if he isnt a vol on wednesday.
he has changed his facebook pic the him kissing the 98 trophy
he has had some contact with jawuan james and with the nance factor is just seems more obvious.
he actually sorta went off on a dawg fan today on facebook for refering to a comment a lady made in which she said "i like your mohawk pretty boy" and a fan replied "that must be a skanky orange hostesses" and darick proceded to tell him to chill out.

it is looking very good with rogers.

i agree... some may not know about past posts and such... we all support one team so why bash each other? and everyone quit bashing recruits....(referring to other threads as well).... and i will admit, some posts may not be as informative as others, but everyone has a right to their own opinion.

I am for just allowing people to post to the best of their abilty. A lot of fans never went to college. And don't tell me that they should have learned to write in high school. I have seen how high school kids write. They don't teach it as well as they should and most cannot write correctly. Let's leave the snobbery at home and have some respect for everyone.

I just don't see what the big deal is if people are improprietous with regards to their grammar. It's not as if having ideal grammar makes what you are trying to communicate more pertinent or important. It's not as if spelling the best makes your info more appropriate or your source more accurate.

Nothing wrong with trying to get it right if that's your thing. Most people don't worry about things like that when chatting on the internet and people who feel the need to call them out seem very small.

I prefer to use proper sentence structure because it's easy and is a habit. However, I'm not foolish enough to think that posters who don't are any less intelligent.

I guess it's a generational thing. Most of the people complaining about it are older and didn't grow up with informal communication like texting, etc.

It does bother me when I see the bloggers on this site who misspell or use improper grammar, though.

If I were 18 yrs old and a "rock star" recruit and if I knew that entering my name into google would bring up list after list of uninformed opinions about my character, personal feelings, and athletic ability...you better believe I would be reading...like it were crack! I think you are mistaking making fun of losers who feel the need to attack bad grammar with defending it. I'm not saying that I like to see people who can't spell or form sentences. I'm just saying that the losers constantly whining about it are much worse.
