What did CDD do that was similar to this? I'm honestly asking.

I remember CDD making statements like, "We're just a bad ball team." I'm hearing CBJ saying, "We have a lot of talent on this team", and then implementing strategies to hold that talent responsible for giving full effort.

It seems to me these are two very different strategies.

Not really sure how I feel about this method. It seems like it would only alienate those who wore the blue rather than motivate. I trust CBJ and staff to implement procedures that work and this very well may...still seems unnecissarily demeaning to me...JMO

I think he should treat all of the guys just like little league sports----give everyone a trophy just for showing up and being part of a team. He should also revisit the concept of using "time out" if they just can't keep up. These are just kids and the future of our country. We cannot let the coaches help build character for these guys---that should happen at home with their parents lol:lol:lol:

It works for Saban. It you can't cut it, you can go on medical redshirt and get your degree. You may not play football and you may have hurt the football team, but that is the way. the cookie crumbles. If anyone in a blue jersey wants to take his ball and go home, give him a police escort. I don't want him and we don't need him around those who want to restore Tennessee football to its rightful place-at the top.
